  • You can learn how to Crochet the Strawberry Stitch using Tunisian Crochet in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This is also known as the berry stitch. This crochet tutorial will show how to make these fun berry stitches using Tunisian crochet. To do this I'm using red and green worsted weight yarn and a size K 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook, oftentimes called an afghan hook.

Ms. Naztazia I absolutely love your videos. My 16 year old daughter wants a strawberry blanket. Can you please tell me how many ounces of yarn I would need to make a full size blanket for her bed useing the same size video you used in this video? Thank you so much for your amazing videos and help.

If you made a swatch, you could use an online calculator to get a close guesstimate. I can't remember the website but it shouldn't be hard to find. I hope this helps! 😊

If my Mom was still alive (passed away a year ago this month), she would have loved something made with this stitch as her kitchens (where ever she lived) were Strawberry themed.

I'm so sorry for your loss hun. I haven't lost my mama yet but I lost my aunt Jan was two years and she was like my second mom. I never really got over it and probably never will. But she's with Jesus now, no more suffering so I'm really happy for her🥰🥰

Hi Barbara. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother is the hardest loss for many people including. I didn't know how I'd get in without her. It still hurts even now almost 14 years later but we'll see them again. They're resting now and we'll all see Jesus together. Take heart. Make these lovely things in remembrance of her. Big hug from Ireland ❤️

I love this so much. I bought my very first Tunisian Crochet Hook just to learn how to do this. I'm just trying to figure out what I can make with this. Scarves, blankets, trivets, and wash cloths, I'm sure. Maybe bags? Either way, every year Troy, OH, (the next town over from me) holds a big Strawberry Festival, and I'm willing to bet if I can figure out some cute things to make with this stitch, I could make bank selling stuff around then :)
Thanks for all your videos. You make it so easy to follow and comprehend.
