Puerto Princesa Underground River

The world-renowned Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, also famously known as the Puerto Princesa Underground River which holds a place in the New7Wonders of Nature, has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list since 1999.
This 8.2-kilometer-long underground river boasts jaw-dropping cave formations, stunning limestone cliffs, and pristine waters, however, only a portion of the river is allowed for tourist explorations, just around 4.3kms. It contains a full mountain to the sea ecosystem and represents significant habitat that are important for biodiversity conservation. It is one of the most important protected areas of the Philippines.
