I' m visiting Goldy this weekend with US visitors and sadly won't be able to utilise my annual pass to check out the Seaworld changes and REALLY want one of those Frappes...
I miss the monorail as with my limited mobility it let me visit and get back to the front easily. Now it’s very difficult to walk the whole park. Lots of parents with toddlers would use it too.
Well there’s quite a few manufacturers who design and build monorail systems, Alstom being one big name. Assuming the beams and supports are in good condition, then it’s just the electrical systems and trains which are EOL and need replacing. If on the other hand the other infrastructure has deteriorated to the point where it needs replacing, then it would almost certainly mean farewell.
@@JaggsJourneys I think the monorail is the thing of the past I have a feeling that the monorail has been left abandoned for so long it’s now the thing of the past and if there would be a new monorail will look not as good as the old one
Both Will and I reckon the monorail is gone... but you never know - removing the track could mean their upgrading. we can only hope we are not losing such an iconic attraction :-)

I hope they can keep the castle and integrate a new dark ride into it. They did wreck (decapitate) the castle bridge some time back for some inexplicable reason and they seem to like to leave things decaying or half ruined for extended periods, so who knows.
