I'm so sad right now for the state of this game, like today I got a greninja (being played by a short calling 9 year old), and assault west, choice specks, rapid-fire scarf charizard, and a tsareena (who afked for 9 mins after dying for her 2nd stack) and enemies had Mew two y with safe guard and helping hand blissey and all their other guys were decant too, only if I (a pretty decant blue badge dodrio player) and our Mewtwo x weren't to just ruin the enemy team in ray fight with the combination of dodrio unite into Mewtwo unite into drill peck, our 9 year old greninja was also blaming absolutely everyone dispite continuesly trying to 1v1 the 3 level higher Mewtwo all game (and uniting nothing off course)
I always say you can’t ask RUclipsrs to tell you what to play, you have to go with what feels right to you; ie I absolutely hate playing lapras, I hate it so much but everyone else loves it and it’s the best defender right now. It just isn’t right for me. Each of the listed defenders has their own feel and playstyle and are a solid choice you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Only downside I can think of is goodra being a three stage evolution, but if you are decent at last hitting you shouldn’t have a hard time reaching 8. Best advice is to play each of them a few times in practice mode and see what feels right
@@ashhalscubichacks8251I can only give you insight on Umbreon but i agree with Phantomshift0 you need to figure it out yourself Umbreon is a hybrid defender/all rounder have decent bulk but not as good as other defender that are built for it, has decent damage but don't expect to outdps an actual all-rounder. Umbreon can be a decent all-rounder if times calls for it. Umbreon CC is annoying to play against and this is what you need to abuse, Rough Play/Snarl combo can make sure enemies are stunned for a WHILE and sometimes can kill an attacker here and there. And Umbreon Unite Move can remove shield perfect for team fight and allowing your speedster/attacker kill easier. Umbreon are flexible defender and has learning curve to utilize CC properly and make sure your team can follow up properly, if by bad luck you are matched with less skilled Player Umbreon can step up as an All-rounder to carry the game if you know how to play it properly.
Re: Mewtwo being bad. If you look at the viewing numbers difference between tier lists and build guides as opposed to game analysis etc, you’ll see why. Most people are only interested in what is the best, and they couldn’t care less about how to actually play well. Even in masters you get Mewtwos and Zacians that do nothing but run headfirst into the enemy over and over again, and people who wander aimlessly around instead of team fighting for objectives. Conversely, there are those who insist on fighting for every objective even when the enemy team has 2-3 levels advantage. Farming simply isn’t in their vocabulary, they came to fight and fight they will, regardless of the strategic benefit or lack thereof.

Was absolutely destroying the entire team before nerf with this build u were literally unkillable and soo hard to counter but new Pokemon plus nerf made this build finally good and not broken

Kinda sad but oh well. At least dragopult is still playable surprisingly lol

Hey I had a doubt what is a balanced Pokemon like currently from my perspective there are either broken Pokemon or non famous dead Pokemon Let's imagine Mewtwo gets Nerf then other mons gets Nerf and it will keep going i am not feeling that there exists a balanced mon. Let's take example of slyveon If all the high win rate mons are nerfed and slyveon becomes the high win rate then it will also get nerfed.Dont roast me am new to this game 😅
A balanced Pokemon is something like Gardevoir. A Pokemon that's in a pretty good spot that does their job well, but not overbearingly so. Gardevoir has an excellent unite move that's punished by dashes, full heal, shed doll, eject, and it's own long cooldown. It doesn't really need any sort of change because it's a really good move but it has counterplay. Compare that to Mewtwo unite. Short cooldown, can lower it's own cooldown, safest unite in the game, hits everyone for a lot of damage and can be completely unavoidable in the right situation. And again compare that to Talon Unite: Medium cooldown, does little damage comparatively, easy to dodge and requires you to either be out of position or use your main attacking move/escape to use effectively. Sure if both Garde and Mewtwo get completely nerfed, then Talon's unite would become the best but that still wouldn't make it a good move. It would still be a bad option but just better than the others. If everything reaches Mewtwo's level, Mewtwo's unite isn't the best but it becomes a "who can hit their unite button first" to decide games. But if every move is adjusted to Garde's level then all 3 are strong options but you CAN beat them so Mewtwo can't just throw Unite on cooldown and steal red buff and holding perpendicular to Talon's unite isn't just a get out of unite free card.
Can't play umbreon or any support/tank for that matter as I've quitted ranked for the remaining of this season and standard games are mainly comprised of bots so I need to play carry to improve my overall winrate. And quick matches are hot garbage if you have to deal with bots with the exception of shivre city.
my wr skyrocketed after exclusively choosing Exp Share Eldy/Wish Umbreon/Lapras bc you know you can't count on teammates to choose anything other than an adc. Went from a 42%wr season stuck in Ultra to Masters 1400(and climbing) + 64%wr in less than a week.

Depends what my team have and what enemy have. If we don’t have healer i pick Wish if we lag with cc i pick Snarl.
