My problem with this excavate reward is that, you can only get it once so if it doesn't win you the game, you're fucked. At least with the others you usually have enough Excavate cards to get two, maybe three if you generate enough excavate cards.
First of you can play target adjacent minions card to excavate 3 times with each of the new excavate spells, and second 2 cold storage gives you 2 aditional copies straight up

Honestly if winning requires mindless agro decks that only hit face then I choose to lose xDD I play to make crazy combos or simply getting bigger upperhand over my opponent in the span of many rounds and then simply bullying them in the late game by not finishing hahaha xDD

It objectively lowers decks winrates but the combination of people netdecking every deck they ever play along with it feeling good to blow up someones deck/clear a bunch of plagues 1/30 games means the card will continue to be very over-represented for the expansion cycle.

You need the Shaman spell that multi targets with Digging Straight Down. You get 3 Excavates for 6 mana. It goes crazy.
