The reason is coding his ai thinks to pick up any visible item and take it and the master sword is obviously a visible item and it’s the first one you see when you enter the forest
There's other weapons you find first in the forest

Well... Sorta
It is extremely unlikely for this to happen for a number of reasons, but it is still possible. You need to drag one of the Blademasters from their main hideout, and all the way to the Master Sword in the Forest, which could take ages.
Now why is this a huge improbable scenario? The Blademasters move extremely slowly, they lose line of sight of you relatively easy, if you lose their attention you gotta get them after you, if they die you gotta start over, the terrains are treacherous for them, and they are easily distracted, and the main reason is their hideout is on the complete opposite side of the world, and the Blademasters only spawn in and around a small area near their hideouts.
True and you need to use a couple glitches to even get them out of the Hideout
