“Break the rules, cross the line, make a mess” is my FAVORITE part of this song. Just the way he sings it and the way he looks while singing it in the video. I think it’s brilliant. My other favorite part is when the girls basically asking God to take her and he says she’s not ready yet. It’s just brilliant.

Me too...I heard him a little on Cowboy Carter and wanted to learn more about him and did he do any more songs...I came across this song - "Let it Burn". Wow! Shaboozey was amazing! Great voice. This phenomenal song blends modern country with rock and hip-hop overtones so well and it's quite catchy!
Glad Shaboozey is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
That's two I've heard from him now, and I want more. HIp hop usually isn't in my listening spectrum - I'm rock (vintage, classic, 80s, metal, grunge) and country (anything before the Florida Georgia Line era - from Faron Young to She Daisy). So with this pedigree, let me say that this guy is fire. He adds just a little bit of flavoring from his hip hop background (as I said on another video, if you know Northern Virginia, it makes sense) but respects the genre.
Funny cause hip hop is more my thing, never been into country much but I love this guy! Just discovered him today and been listening to all his songs now- I love all the clashing of the genres in his songs.
I know the crowds at his concerts gotta be crazy mixes of people loving the same music. It’s beautiful.
