I used to dread the process of sifting through countless research papers, but Connected Papers has made it so much easier. In this Connected Papers tutorial, I’ll show you step-by-step how to use Connected Papers to simplify your research process. You’ll learn how to search research papers using Connected Papers and get a clear, visual representation of how different papers are interconnected.
What I love about this tool is that it’s not just about citations. You can build a graph using Connected Papers to visually explore academic papers, making it easier to see the connections and relationships between them. This visual approach gives you a snapshot of your research field, saving you from reading tons of papers to get a sense of what’s out there.
In this connected papers review, I’ll highlight some key features that make this tool indispensable. You’ll see how it helps with reference selection using Connected Papers by clustering similar articles together, which is incredibly useful for pinpointing the most relevant studies. Plus, it’s fascinating to watch how the graph evolves as you add more papers to your search.
For those wondering how to get started, I’ll cover the basics of connected papers how to use, including searching by keywords, title, DOI, or URL. This tool isn’t just for academia; I’ve found it useful even outside of my academic pursuits.
By the end of this video, you’ll be able to confidently navigate the platform and take advantage of its powerful features. Whether you’re a student, a researcher, or just someone passionate about staying informed in your field, Connected Papers en action is a tool you won’t want to miss.

I really like these kind of videos where you explain the different features of a tool and how that translates to different steps in research.
Anyone can "try out" these tools but you not only introduce new tools but also make it much easier to select the right tool for the job.
    Keep up the good work.

Hi Andy (anyone), is there an AI tool you know of that can analyse video research? I want to conduct a bunch of interviews that will be video captured. I then want to be able to upload them to an AI tool, have it summarise and analyse them & then let me interrogate the data. Appreciate any suggestions

I'd probably do this in a multistage process. !st use something like Whisper AI to turn the video into text an then import the text into ChatGPT or Julius AI for analysis. If you want to ask questions across many documents you could try Docanalyzer.

Thanks, but NONE of these are 'hidden' features, now are they?
