@@petervonberg2711 Thanks for your comment. The concept of these videos is not a competition but rather a close comparison, yet I agree that Cliburn‘s dexterity is stunning. Also, from what I know, he seems to have the most „Lisztian“ fingers. However, I like Bolet‘s more mature concept of the piece (which is natural given the difference of age at the time of the performance) while both interpretations to me are surprisingly similar.
@@petervonberg2711 Sometimes, to me, the visible and audible overcoming of technical difficulties is important if not hindering the music. „Technique has to be seen to be done.“ Nevertheless, I like the more mercurial Cliburn approach a lot.
