I've played the game for quite some time now and have finally reached B-asteroids. I dont know if it's a known bug, but when I want to move my technology lab down and press the button to move it, it just gets reset and stays in the same place. Of you need further information please ask.
You have to break several layers before the technology lab is able to move downward, usually after defeating an elder type layer you'll be able to place your lab in its place
