My experience of being a Saints fan for 58 years warns me to be doubtful, but my intuition tells me that the Saints are going to have a very good year, WHO DAT!!!

It's something very different, but in my opinion, it's more believable to bring success. It almost feels like we have arrived from the Stone Age to the new way of winning football culture on offense.

Support your boy saints fan, give the man a like and a comment. We need more intelligent fan perspectives. Otherwise we hear either sunshine or neg from the media. It’s hard to determine what is real

Yeah, Kubuak and Janocko gonna have to earn their pay checks. And this is DA's last chance I think, so he has no choice but to step up.

This is something I wrote on Saintsreport. (Comments) We lost to all of the good teams that we played. Jax, Det, GB, Tx. were all close games. Which showed we were a good team. But we got smoked vs the Shannan tree in Minn and the Rams. This told us, we need a new OC period, if we want to be a GREAT team. We showed heart at the end beating TB and ATL. TB was our most impressive win becaue they advanced in the playoffs. But they were technically 8-8 at the time. Which makes the above cherry picked statement, that we didn’t beat a winning team, true. Regardless of the past, this team brilliantly realized what it needed to do, and did exactly that. They hired the Godfathers Son and his henchmen of the system that has been repetitively rocking us for years. One thing you have to give them credit for, when they realize that they have a need, they go out and fill that need ASAP with quality. I truly have hope in the Saints this year. My only concern is how fast can our offense absorb this new system into their DNA.

Lack of focus, up and down play, not paying attention to the details that showed up in games last year cost us. I'm thinking we get these things fixed we'll see the results on the field this year! WHO DAT!

@@blackngoldnetwork last year: We start off 2-0 and head to GB. Carr gets hurt, and we lose the road game. The funk lingered into the following week when TB smoked us. Their manhood was questioned, and the responded big time vs Ne on the road. Feeling over confident now, gets humbled by the Texans. Now at this point. If I’m a player on the team, I don’t know who we are? Are we good? Do we suck? Are we phony? What’s up!? Manhood tested again vs Jax team which was favored and QB1 started. We lose this one at home, but it kinda felt like just being close was a win. We follow up with 2 wins which established that we didn’t suck. Followed by the Rams, where we were trounced. This is the game that told everyone in the Saint FO. That we need a drastic change. We go on to finish the season beating two average teams, and deservedly missed the playoffs. This is who we are. An average team that cannot compete at all vs the elite teams. So the Saints FO recognized this and made the proper changes. At least as fans we know that the front office has its finger on the pulse of the team and will make the necessary changes. Thats all we can ask for.

The Rams game was definitively a watershed moment for the organization. Had they ignored it...we would have been f***ed for years to come!

As a very longtime Saints fan, I refuse to drink the Koolaid because the O-lines and the D-lines are comparatively weak. Until those areas prove themselves to be consistently good, the Saints will be average at best.

Hey I get it! I'm old enough to remember 1-15, Bum Philips, drafting a PUNTER/KICKER (that couldn't actually kick and could barely punt) with a first round pick, the Billy Joes starting at QB, Ditka, etc.
Brutal stuff for a fan to take for years.
