Thank you, i take that as a real compliment. I was very much into visuals and photography even at that age, probably due to my artist background. I was fasinated with the Cyberamic characters back then and made it a challenge to photograph all the different ones i came across in the two PTTs in my area at the time. Not easy to shoot these photos as the characters were all moving at the time, and hjas VERY fast eye blinks.
Thanks Ethan ! PTT meant a lot to me back then so i tried to save everything. It still means a lot, and i am glad to be able to share these with all fellow fans !
@@run_the_show_desmond - I have had both for several years. The reel to reel is not a PTT issued model however. Just one a friend gave me that works very nicely.
That was so cool! I love seeing vintage stuff like this. Glad to see someone is archiving Chuck E. Cheese memobillia. Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theater has an incredible and very deep history.
Thank you ! Yes, the history of the concept as a whole is incredible story. it is high time a serious documentary piece was done covering the entire saga. In the meantime, i will keep on saving my stuff.
To this day ive yet to find a picture of the outside of Brandon, FL PTT from the early 80s...I was only 2 or 3 when I started going to store 420 in 1987/1988.
Same. I have a shot of PTT Chuck E. standing by the road with the Brandon portable sign, but have none of the actual outside of the Store from the time period. When i was visiting when the place first opened in 1981, the outside looked like your typical PTT exterior but had a HUGE rectangular sign above the entrance doors on the building. It was the then new PTT logo and it looked fantastic. Flanking the entrance doors was the two 'theater windows' that had popcorn lights. Here is where the 'Now Appearing' posters appeared, in this case for Harmony Howlette and Dolli Dimples. I have photos of those windows...i am sure fans have seen them on ShowbizPizza.com.
@@CircusShowplace I have to ask…where was the balcony stage? In the back of the store? That was where the animatronics where in the early 90s (of course by then it wasn’t a balcony stage) that whole room is sealed off today. The blue screen room was always cool. I think I remember the king being there. The blue screen room was for adults I believe when it opened. Was Dolli dimples in the blue screen room? Sorry for all questions but I’m just so fascinated with the Brandon store. I didn’t come around till 87 but my best memories were early 90s in that store.
@@undertow1985 - Brandon's Show was always in the same place. Even in the Balcony days. The 'bluescreen' room as you call it used to be a Sports Room where a large projection tv was set up for adults to watch sports and have some time away from the kids. When the Store opened in 1981, it had Dolli in the Caberet and The Beagles in the Lounge. Both of these rooms were located up front to your right as you walked into the entrance. In 1982 The King replaced The Beagles, but Dolli stayed. These rooms were later removed when the game room area was expanded in later years. Brandon also was one of only a very small handful of PTTs to have CEC's Ice Cream Emporium. This was located to your left as you entered the building, and was a old time ice cream parlor spot. This is where The Little Shavers mini show was located. Today that space is just seating before you reach the Cash / Merch counter.
This is awesome. History i wished I got to experience. Especially since I used to live in the Brandon area. I always wanted to see old photos of the Brandon,Fl cec. I hope Someday I can see what the outside looked like
Thanks ! Yes, i too wish i had a photo of the outside of the Brandon location from it's first couple of years of operation when i was visiting. I remember how it looked clearly...but wish i had taken a photo. Brandon had a HUGE classic PTT sign up outside the building, plus the glass theater 'window boxes' shown in my photos with 'popcorn' lighting. They also had a small door just for children to enter, as well as a full sized entrance door for adults. The place was awesome back in 1981 and 1982.

Love the history Jenn!👑👍🏻
crazy how good some of these photos are for being taken by a kid in 1981/82

I hope you return to the streams! It's interesting to see a different time in CEC that I haven't experienced. Hope to see more photos soon! :)
@viviieenee Thanks for watching!
At some point when I have the time I will have some more fun live streaming experiences for everyone to enjoy.

These are definitely some of my favorite photos I've ever seen, I'm glad you were able to document some of the greatest early PTT stuff.

You know that a full Little Shavers band was saved and now displayed at the Volo Auto Museum?
Yes, i do. Not a fan of those characters or the show to be honest, but it is nice that at least one example has been saved.

do you have a vintage photo of sally or foxy???
I did not get the opportunity to see Sally of Foxy in person, as they were mostly located in California at the time i started photographing at PTT.
tnx

I use the image of jasper in that image of you in front of the balcony stage as i joke that i call "angry jasper" because he looks angry in that photo
