When people want to say "What all came in a sealed Pokemon Gen 1 game?", all they need to do is look at this video. This is awesome. Thanks for your contribution, and for the quality entertainment!
It’s fake. That’s not an original copy. For starters. That white cardboard that held the cartridge only came with Pokémon Yellow. Not blue or red. And the BIG giveaway. Why would there be an ad for Pokémon Stadium??? That game came 4 years after Blue and Red. N64 wasn’t even out yet
@@steamingpanda2.177 The white cardboard DID come with Red and Blue, I don't know where you got that. Also, these games got MANY reprints, all the way into the early 2000s, so there would DEFINITELY be ads for Pokemon Stadium in some of them.
@@steamingpanda2.177 NA release of Stadium: February 29, 2000, NA release of Red and Blue: September 28, 1998. Less than a year and a half between initial releases and thats not even accounting for the several manufacturer printing runs for R/B. The white cartridge holding insert came with both Red and Blue with some boxes instead having the built-in cartridge holder. Nothing you've said here is based in fact, it's just unresearched nonsense.
@@wassupusa To add to what you and Skul said: this is the second print of Red, white ESRB logo but screenshot of Rattata not Sandshrew. That print does correctly come in a y-fold box with removable insert, as does the third (black ESRB logo). First print had a different Nintendo Power flyer ("Pokemon Times" version, not "Hungry?" version) and didn't have the Pokemon Stadium ad.
I know this is an old video, bit thank you. When I was four years old, I played Pokemon Red before I could read, memorizing the order to do things in and of my moves of my Pokemon so I could play. I was a little too young to experience inviting the game myself, so I'm really glad that I got a chance to watch it at the very least.

I just started playing Pokemon Red again on my new Red GameBoy pocket that I picked up, and currently just beat the elite 4 + blue. Now on to complete the PokeDex and glitch me a Mew!!!
This is pretty amazing. I was born in 1999 so I never got to experience having a brand new Gameboy Color. I ended up buying one with Pokémon Yellow, and blue, and gold. One thing lead to another and I had to get rid of it... but I do remember opening new Gameboy advance games! I am about to buy a Gameboy Color, and Pokémon red so I can relive those memories. It’s cool to have this experience, thanks for the video.
This was technically my first Pokémon Game I've played. I knew a kid upstairs from me and he had this and he let me borrow it. I tried it but I couldn't fully understand the gameplay being I up to that point played platforming games. So I forgot about it until Christmas when my mom got me a Gameboy Color and Pokémon Yellow Special Pikachu Edition which was the holiday best seller for obvious reasons lol. I was upset about it but I did try to play it being I would be able to start a new game and not erase someone's game. So I tried it and I became a Pokémon Fan. I plan to get Sun and Moon on day one obviously.

The Game Boy battery case isn't the original, the original reads 'Game Boy' pressed into the plastic mold. Hence It's either or fake or something is up. It even has the repair company sticker on it.. I know because I bought one from the website myself.

Does anyone have information on the inner tray that holds the cartridge? I have a CIB Pokemon Blue, and the tray isn't loose like that. It's attached to the inside of the box. Were different trays used at different times?
@@cavegamers1 That's interesting. Mine also doesn't have an insert advertising for Pokemon Stadium, just a couple for Nintendo Power. I wonder if the cardboard attached to the inside was in earlier releases, then they switched to the tray insert later.

Good question! I think for Red, Blue, and Yellow, the battery would probably still be good. But with Gold, Silver, and Crystal, it would be dead. GSC games keep track of time which is always drawing power from the battery, so they don't last very long. Many used RBY games still have good batteries.
