So just a correction here. And most people get this wrong, but Steamboat Willie was never the name of the character. It was the title of the the third Mickey Mouse cartoon that the Disney company made. You can even see on the title card of the film it says "A Mickey Mouse Sound Cartoon". The first two Mickey Mouse films preceeding Steamboat Willie are Plane Crazy and Galloping Gaucho. Just a little info for you.
