17:30 - North on Osler Street
18:16 - West on Cariboo Avenue
18:26 - South on the West Toronto Railpath

Just some corrections on this one: I said from Kipling Station you can take the airport rocket train, I meant bus. Also that was Bloor Street West and not Dundas West I stopped at on the Railpath Trail. Oops!
Haha I wondered if you'd catch those li'l mistakes. It's amazing how you can narrate and navigate simultaneously. I cycle the rail path often but find it isn't that helpful in getting me anywhere so it's more of a fitness exercise. But a nice new cafe called Gaspar that backs onto the path near Wallace is making it more of a destination for me.
Excellent video. I used to live in the area 50 yrs ago and will probably never visit. Thanks for the update. Some of us are old now, don't own a car, unable to walk much, your tours are much appreciated.
You're very welcome and I look forward to making more!
🍎👍 another great ride. Love the narration as you go. You sure know a lot about the city and area. Thanks so much. - H
Thank you, I try :)
Great tour!
It seems like a fantastic city to visit one day, when this is over!
Thank you and let me know if you ever visit!
Thanks a lot Johnny for this amazing ride, i really needed it, I'm lying on my back on bad suffering from excruciating pain from an incident i had recently and this video just gave me some relief, and oh! I remember that stupid guy who almost run you over when he made a sudden turn, you gotta be careful around those idiots.
I hope you recover well and glad you appreciated the video!
I really enjoyed this video , thanks again for doing this for those of us that are not inToronto! Very familiar with Davenport and DuPont streets , as this is the route we take to go visit our cousin!
You're very welcome and thanks for watching!
Thanks for this wonderful narrative ride very informative Canada has so many different places you can just enjoy 🥰 keep these wonderful vlogs coming Johnny 🤗💞🤗
You're very welcome Denise!!! Glad you're enjoying them :)
This was another excellent video.
Today is Wednesday the 5th and the temperature has dropped significantly, which is a welcome relief, so I hope you can get out for another narrated walk to share with us.
Thanks again!
Thanks Vera! I just recorded a narrated walk so hopefully it will be up for tomorrow or Friday morning :)
Great video am sitting in Scotland wishing a was over visiting my brother who stays in the city 👍🏼 love the video keep them
Up 🤟🏻
You're very welcome and thanks for watching!
just out if curiosity what do you do for a living ?
Commercial underwriting, but after this week I'm taking a break from work for a little while.
Have you ever tried a ride early in the morning? 5-6am to avoid the traffic and heat.
Yes, that's a great time to ride. I haven't recorded any since I started this channel but I will get out and do some!
Good to see the local place...
I enjoyed the ride.
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
Another perfect sunny day for a refreshing bike adventure. However, the roads you are in are a bit narrow and there are no bike lanes. Be careful out there, Johnny!
Indeed they are narrow but if a cyclist feels there is not enough room they are able to take the full lane by law! It's sometimes the safest thing to do. Cheers!
A nice one Johnny different, that Railpath is very good thanks.
You're very welcome and thanks for watching!
The trees (18:42) look like an arc to the railpath❤. In 23:55 what are those circles ?
Yes! Yesterday was gloomy. So there were 2 possibilities-->> it's either watch Netflix or just sleep .Lol! I did wait for your video but t'was none so I ended up sleeping..
I think those cirrcles were benches! Sorry for no video yestserday, I didn't have time to get one ready for every day this week... but starting next week that's not going to be a problem! (plus I'll be sure to do an extra or two for Patreon:). I hope you have better weather lately! Sometimes I feel tired just trying to find something to watch on Netflix/Prime...
Hi Johnny excellent video 🙏🏻 drive carefully....
Thank you I will!
Great video
Thanks!
I’m cycling and swimming in the lake every summer in Toronto. This city’s climate is pretty favourable for outdoor exercise in summer. I ride road bike.
Glad you're getting exercise in the city!
A trip to Barrie about 1 hour. A trip to Kitchener about two hours
Davenport ends at Yonge St. If you go straight thru the interchange that is Church St. The Masonic Temple is on the northwest corner
Yeah, I knew that it's just hard to think clearly sometimes recording these things. I'm getting better at it at least. It also doesn't help that I didn't have the time to watch this first as I made a few errors I could have thrown subtitles on there to explain.
As usual a great video. Keep it up
Very nice drive my friend 👍♥️
Thank you! 👍
Thanks bro
You're very welcome!
Very nice friend👍👍
Thank you^
FYI: It may not be remotely relevant in this instance, but I know that a few weeks ago the LCBO at Dupont & Huron was closed for 3 days for 'deep cleaning' after one of their employees tested positive for Covid-19. This time it may well be due to the holiday but sometimes there are other reasons for closures that aren't well publicised.
Since the pandemic, all LCBO locations are closed on Mondays.
This is indeed the reason. I knew that too just didn't think of it (I tried to get drinks there the Monday prior to this lol).
sorry for not commenting for a while, friend. i have been busy preparing for school which starts in less than a week. Kind of stupid that im going back to school seeing how Florida is doing in terms of the virus right now. our governor and president are idiots. but oh well. thanks again for the great video. i found this one very interesting especially towards the end on the rail path. we have something similar to that near Orlando, though the name is escaping me. Have a great day! Cheers! :)
Hey, there's no need to be sorry! I hope you guys turn it around in Florida and beat this things. That's neat that Orlando has something like this!
Overall how many kilometers do u covered by bicycle?? Don't u have car?? I will buy it for u???
This was not a very long ride, maybe 5 km in total?
I do not have a car (I only use one once or twice a month so I just rent).
You will buy me a car? If you are a millionaire I will accept that haha
💖👍💯
Thank you 👍
Happy
👍
👌👍🌸
Thank you! 👍
No garbage pick up on a holiday
Yup, but it still stunk of garbage for some reason. Probably some rotting dumpsters somewhere and the wind picked it up.
Why don't you come to Scarborough?
I rode my bike there in a ride last week! I'll be back at some point.
Hey my neighborhood Dupont and Ossington 👌 ugly? This is the real Toronto blue collar area if ya ask me,before condos take over Dupont
I really like this area and would love to live there. I hope it retains its character even when the developers eventually roll in. It's good to see a lot of the old warehouses and factories at least be somewhat preserved.
I've seen many cyclists getting killed on the road on CP24, please be very careful
Yes, safety has to be the priority when on the streets!
Yeah I wish he took davenport for the bike lane but even with those it can be dangerous. People in this city don’t treat cyclists with respect or as other vehicles on the road. Can’t count the amount of times I’ve almost been hit by people who only look out for other cars. Worse are the people who cuss you off for almost hitting you like you don’t have right of way or weren’t hand signalling your intention.
Why your road is unpleasant ?
First?! "uploaded 56 seconds ago" well, okay then...
LCBO is closed because LCBO is closed every Monday these days as an adjustment for the pandemic.
Indeed, and I knew that I just didn't think of it for some reason. Oh well :)
