How awesome! Makes me feel like I got to see the show even though I live really far from there. The show looks beautiful and you are excellent at talking about your work!
You ability to capture light is exceptional and you have a unique style , well done, self taught, it's in the genes , you can perfect an art in any form , but the acorn that becomes the oak tree is planted a long time before. You will make many more great works, every picture is a lecture in self education , ask any artist.
Nice gallery! Love the wood in it. First time I've seen your art! Wo. You're good. Fresh Produce. Love that one. Golden Hour says San Francisco all over. "Mundane turned into the sublime." I like that phrase. Into the Pass and Mountain Valley are akin to our area in Canada. Texas Storm. Wow. Vivid. Those are the exact colours in the sky before a storm. You've nailed it. Good luck with sales. I enjoyed the video gallery showing.
Congratulation ! Those paintings look awesome and this already by just viewing on a screen , I would definitely loved to visit if I lived in your neighborhood as in real life it always is more interesting to watch . I wish you a lot of succes !🍀
Absolutely love your cityscapes! Would love to buy one eventually. And I really enjoy your videos, Christina. I am always in awe of people who have found their "thing" in life at such a young age. I am 38, mother of a three year old and it's only been these last few years that I thought: maybe I can be a professional painter/artist myself. When I was around 17 to 20 and thinking about what to do with my life, I was completely lost. I thought about studying art but got discouraged. Instead I jobbed a while and then studied literature without any plan what to do with it, and eventually I started working in a library. Which I still do, but don't love. It's alright, I like it, my colleagues are lovely, the work itself is okay, the conditions are good, but it's not enough. Not creative enough. During the last years I've painted more and more and I've discovered so many awesome artists that I started thinking, maybe I didn't need to study art. Maybe I can still do this differently. And that is giving me more life than you can imagine. Thank you for contributing to that feeling and I wish you all the best. ❤
Thanks for sharing your story! I am so glad to hear that you have found so much joy in art. I wish you continued inspiration and best of luck in building your art career!
The way you capture light and the nuances within colours is just so beautiful ❤ I’m not educated enough in art to really put clear words to why, I’m sure, but I just wanted to applaud the work, the results, and say congratulations on such a beautiful show! 👏
Love seeing your beauties up on display! Such feeling and expressiveness in your art! Great exhibition space too. Congrats Christina! I'm keeping my eyes open for prints, although i realise you've been very busy... x Nell.
Nice work. Idk if you've ever watched chamberlin arts on YT, but he also lives in San Fran, you guys kinda have a similar style, you should totally do a collab. His story is similar to yours, but he's been painting for about 20 years. Look forward to seeing more of your work
Thank you! Yes, I’ve painted with him before, he’s a great guy :) you can see us in the video here: ruclips.net/video/5FeAXpkbxdY/видео.htmlsi=4PPYo68ty4Z563jh
