As an indicator of the support they get from their fans, The Warning currently has 3,059 paying supporters on Patreon. The greatest number ( by far) of any band producing original music on the entire Patreon platform. In terms of the number of supporters, that ranks them #12 out of the more than 15,000 accounts in the music category. The 11 entities ahead of them are either music reviewers or provide lessons. It’s my opinion that their 2017, 18.5 minute, three song, TedX concert at the University of Nevada is a great illustration of why they have such an ardent fan base. Good as the music is, the way they address the audience between songs sets them apart and just makes people want to support them.

This Patreon video, is probably the shortest documentary of all of them made for TW, and just a glaze over, of whom they are. They started in 2012 as the Warning. A lot happened in the next 4 years. Concerts, Making killer Music videos, composing amazing originals, more concerts, Television shows, Radio spots, Magazine articles, sponsorships, and then......... The 2016 followed by 2017 Ted Talks. These are a great way to see them starting out, and see with your own eyes how talented they at young age, yet not the earliest. By this time, they have been a band with enough originals for 1 EP, and 1 LP, and touring in a few countries, with many television shows under their belt.

I had no clue who they were or what this was about, but curiosity got the best of me and I clicked on it. They're best live and Teatro Met 08/29/22 show has all their new songs They're all on their page as well as the full concert. A good start would be their video of Enter Sandman 2014 then their live version from this show. Metallica asked them to reinvent the song for the 30th anniversary Black album and they make it their own. So good it's track 1 on the album. Enjoyed this reaction look forward to your journey of TW. Their Tedx shows are really good they speak between songs it's a good way to see their story.

The great thing about TW is a large part of their professional life is documented.
They are definitely a product of their generation meaning they are very astute with social media as a whole and the accessibility that comes with it.
Each journey into TW is unique.
The Warning Army (TWA) can help guide you but it’s truly more rewarding to discover them yourselves at your own pace.
The OG TW fans have experienced TW evolution in real time as it has occurred so it’s more of a linear journey for them.
New fans, such as myself, came onboard later in the journey and became acquainted with their newer music first then backtracked to the beginning of their story and tried to catch up or fill in the gaps to learn as much as we could even though we experienced it as their history instead of in real time.
I personally haven’t been this excited about a band since my teenage years in the 80’s.
I’m closing in on my 1 yr anniversary of enlisting in the TWA and I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of the last year watching every interview, vlog, fan cam video, RUclips video, IG livestream and Patreon and Discord topic concerning this band that I could find. I also went and saw them live in May and got to meet them at the meet & greet before the show.
It’s been an amazing and rewarding journey for me personally and I highly recommend you take your own journey.
    Thanks for the reactions!

I can only speak for myself, but the 2017 TedX is the performance that reached out and grabbed me. The 2016 one is certainly good. But the three songs they did were done so well in 2017. I generally suggest the 2017 to new folks and let them find the 2016 performance on their own. Others may suggest a different path, but if I am making only one recommendation to show where they came from, I suggest that 2017 TedX.

The best way to start is two videos from the TEDx TALKS (channel) series. They play 3 songs on each video. Then they talk about the band.
First one is from 2016. Titled: *Young Girls Love To Rock.*
They play one cover & 2 original songs.
Second one is from 2017. Titled: *You've Been Warned.* They play 3 original songs.
Each video is around 18 minutes long.

A million suggestions, all good. But at some point you will have to react to the entire Queen of the Murder Scene concept album. Live at Lunario CDMX is the most common, as it was the debut and you get to experience the changing persona of the Queen as the songs progress. Some reactors do it one or two songs at a time and others do a live stream. A few do a deep dive with the studio versions first, followed by live. Either way, there are no copyright issues, as they were independent.

  • @justinatest9456

Every song from their Teatro show is worth checking out for sure, however some of those songs are best seen performed in the era when they were written. A strong example of that is When I'm Alone, and Survive which are both best seen in the Tedx performance, which is a legendary momwnt for them.
Two other songs I feel are best seen in earlier times are Dust To Dust from Live at Lunario, and Narcisista from Foro Didi. And then watching the Teatro versions again later is geat, the performances there are amazing as these are huge fan favourites and a big part of their catalog.

  • @DaveRod76
    @DaveRod76 Год назад +7

Yeah, the original kick off, Enter Sandman cover 2014! That was pivotal. Also, both Ted Talks loom large in their legend. The Second Ted Talk is where the slogan, "You've Been Warned" originates from. The Foot Fighter's Cover, Pretender "Out of the Basement" it was their first attempt to do something like a music video, but it was really a recording session outdoors, hence "out of the basebent" of their home studio. Let's see, you'll have to go through their Escape the mind EP with their live school performance, Liceo concert, and work your way up to the legendar Dakota Bar for XXI Blood, then Lunario CDMX 2018 for their LEGENDARY and EPIC Queen of the Murder Scene concept album debut, (And don't forget their single, Narcisista! Followed by their documentary "Mayday in the Making" the making of their Mayday EP during quarantine and follows the girls to their first ever major record deal with Lava Records. By the way, The Warning are making history along the way. They are the first Mexican rock band to ever be signed by a major us label, and the first Mexican band to ever play at MTV's VMA's. Then of course, you'll need to work your way through ERROR, and you'll get all those songs from the Teatro Metropolitan concert, but their is a plethora of other good footage, like their opening for the Foo Fighters, and other major bands. You'll not want to miss the footage of when Lizzy Hale gifted Dany a guitar. Etc. There's so much, and I'm sure others will give you more details, and other TWA fan favorites and wonderful moments. Have fun!

They have some really good covers and they are absolutely worth visiting. Just to experience their journey, even if you don't end up doing a reaction to them.
My personal favorites are, of course, the OG "Enter Sandman" from 2014. Without this cover you definitely don't have the current version of The Warning.
Also their Foo Fighters "The Pretender" videos are fun as well. One of them is a professionally shot video, and I believe they also did "The Pretender" as part of a 3-song set from one of their TEDx talks. Their TEDx talks are both reaction worthy btw.
Another favorite for me is a Motley Crue "Kickstart My Heart" cover from their basement that is super-fun to watch. It's only 2-3 minutes long, but it is really good.
At some point they did a really fun performance of Metallica's "Atlas Rise" from the famous Whiskey a Go Go venue. I think it was likely one of their last cover performances.
Oh, and a Muse cover they did when they were really young. I think it was "Hysteria". I think they performed a really fun show for their all girls private school and did the Muse song. The whole show is a fun watch.
Pau (their drummer) also did very good piano cover of Radiohead's song "Creep" a few years back that should definitely be seen. Sooooooo good! Definitely don't sleep on their covers, especially the one that helped get this thing up and running. I've enjoyed watching your reactions to my favorite band. Peace! 🤘

You're already hooked but I would suggest watching a few recent live videos to understand how great The Warning is. Then you can go back and watch their growth. There are several excellent documentaries and the Lunario concert from 2018 will blow your mind. Dany was 18, Pau 16, Ale 13. Considering their ages is not what makes it a great show. It's just a great freakin' show at any age. It should be done again and I'm sure they are considering doing it someday. You have just discovered one of the greatest bands of all time with a fantastic story of their growth which is all documented. Enjoy the ride. Many will be watching.

The tough thing is that you haven't about them because they really aren't "big" yet (a relative term). They have done almost everything except cross that threshold that launches. Not saying they aren't a solid, successful band, but for those of us watching them for many years, there is some frustration that the viral event like for the single ES video hasn't happened to the band as a whole. It's always "maybe this will do it" - "Choke" on the radio. The incredible concert footage from Teatro Metropolitan in 2022. Now it's the VMAs. They are immensely talented and incredibly professional with a super work ethic, but there is a headwind against rock music (and perhaps their gender - as I read the VMA comments, I can see the blowback from the basement dwellers already). I don't worry about them handling anything. But to get that "black swan" lift from the crowded ocean to the sky is a complicated calculus.

Great reaction - I felt the same 23 months ago when I first Got Warned! - "how come I don't know this band? where have I been?" type of feeling. The Warning has been very adept at connecting with fans through the various social media platforms, and when you can finally see what they have created since they first started - you do feel like you watched them growing up.
I'd agree with checking out their originals first, then some covers. Their school concert at Liceo (literally, school) is a great early showcase - they did do 4 cover songs before playing songs from their first EP Escape the Mind. So, maybe check out "Free Falling" at Liceo -- it is the first song the 3 sisters worked on together, and it is on Rock Band 4!

Two excellent videos to see are the 2016 and 2017 Ted X Talk at the University of Nevada. In each they perform three songs and give some inspirational and autobiographical speaking, - EXCELLENT!
Enjoy this awesome ride. Looking forward to more reaction vids.

As you will learn from the comments here, there is no single song that is considered their best. They have 47 original songs in their discography so far and if you asked 20 fans what their favorite song is, you'd likely get 20 different answers. So read through the comments and pick something from their RUclips channel, you literally can't go wrong.

gr8 reaction ... foo fighters the pretender cover ... metallica enter sandman cover from 10 years ago ... metallica atlas rise cover ... then EVERY original song ... have fun, the rabbit hole is huge if you do all the other stuff they have released as well ... if you really want to see a great mini docu ... do the 6 part "mayday in the making" 30 minutes total, but you see where they are at up to the recording of error ... r0ck 0n ... \m/ ... p.s. they truly are better live... watch the live version when you can

I've been a fan for years, im 53 and I can say I've listened to alot of music and I have never loved a band so much! They somehow just draw you in and I cant explain it. Yes the music is good , they have great lyrics and the are excellent musician's but it's way more than that.
I think these 3 girls are the future of rock ,they will take over the world with their music , im 100% positive about that !

Thanks Psi & Bella for sharing this wonderful look at the 3 fabulous Sisters. Their love of music and their love of their fans is unlike any band I have encountered in over 60 years. They are top tier musicians, vocalists and beyond great performers, I personally am very fortunate to have discovered these Ladies a couple years ago and have gone way down the rabbit hole, have all their CD's , tee shirts, hoodies.. anything to support them. Viva the Warning.....TWA. 🥰🥰 Hoping to see them live someday.

My favorite cover of this band has to be The Pretender from the Foo Fighters! They have a great video on their cover and you can also see them perform this cover at their first TedX show. They were so good they got invited back.

their cover of Foo Fighters *Pretender* is excellent... they shot a MV for it outside in a lot up on a hill outside of their hometown... IIRC they shot it in 4 takes and used the audio from the first one with shots from all four takes... they are so tight with their timing, it is easy to patch the takes to the audio in editing... it is an excellent video as are all of their MVs...
they did ask their patreons if they should continue making Music Videos or use the funds for concert videos... the majority said concert videos... we still get MVs from time to time, though... they performed *MORE* and then gave us its MV... their live concerts are best... especially those that are pro shot with an audio feed off the main board... but yeah... i do like their MVs 😹

I wanted to be really honest about why I do love them. But day by day it’s getting harder and harder. And I think that in my case is that I have only sons after a few miscarriage of my wife their numbers would be six. We both prayed and hoped for a girl or girls. And there they came, three to be honest beautiful girls even in toddler age playin a huge piano and it was a down deal for me. If we couldn’t have girls, here they are, and playing Rock my favored genre of music. Of course every kid are growing up and most cases they are loosing their charm in their later time. Not this girls! ( sorry young women ) they make my old hearth beating healthier and faster with everything they create. In my late teenage yrs we were introduced to the Beatles and become our favored band, and it is the only band I can compare the Warning. Why? Their lyrics are coming from their hearth and hitting our hearth as hard as the Beatles did. But in my mind the Warning is more human as the Fab Four was except a few Lennon song did the same to me. They are not the revivals of rock, they are the real rock goddesses.

Y'all' saying "Ohh" and "Niicee'" SOO LOUDLY every 5 seconds covers up things they're saying. Maybe not do that in the future? Smdh.
