Very informative video Lindsay, thank you for taking the time to make it. 👏 A suggestion, a video on ‘loch style’ in windy rough conditions - 30kmh + winds, 2’+ waves etc.. Conditions where it all but impossible to stay in contact with your flies. Have a great festive season!
I’m occasionally use the bung every so often …. Other anglers can really get a chin on when they know you are using a bung especially when you catch fish
Good informative video, l fish the bung more this time of year, think it works better on cold bright days. I bet you would have cleaned up with a black lure that day.
Be it the use of a Bung/indicator or floating fly be it booby fab or a deer hair sedge. It is as much about consistent repeatable presentation of flies at required depths. As it is about getting better indications of the fish taking the fly. Most anglers do not realise that they are unaware of up to nine out of ten fish that take and spit out the fly without the angler even noticing. How many times have we lost fish from simply not regularly checking the fly for damage or a masked hook point or ignoring a wind knot on our leader. A hook point turned over and dulled by a stone turns a fishing session into a fur n feather swimming session
class vid lindsay my local trout fishery water isnt that deep its about 6-7ft what rigs would you reccomend for this? thanks again for the vid great info : )
Hi Lindsay. The bung on its day is devastating and has saved me blanking on a lot of occasions. Good video, look forward to your next video on the bung where hopefully it’s more successful for you. What floating line do you use?
Hi Lindsay! Another great, informative video as per usual. I find your content reliably useful! And a bit of unsolicited constructive criticism, for those close up shots, try look directly into the lens and not at yourself on the screen next to the lens, feels like you are looking past us lol

Hi Lindsay I think you rock,, awesome vid,,reality always wins. As a thought perhaps don’t title your videos and just fish,, this video would have been pulling lures with intermediate line,,, count down, colours , type of lures etc..!! Haha Next time when the bung is working you have a today’s video..happy days!!! Just a thought... Regardless. I like your videos. Keep it up ..
Stephen, I think you might have something there. It is frustrating when you are trying to make a vid on a subject and it’s just not happening. I had to work really hard to get this video out.

Nice one Lindsay. Love your honesty. Some days it works and sometimes it doesn’t. That’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. Cheers

Just proves that the bung is not cheating as it does not guarentee a fish.
Not always 👍
Didn’t need that poxy music dubbing
Thanks for that Dave.
Shouldn't have to justify using a method within the rule book. Sick of the snobbery surrounding it sometimes.
Correct!

White worked really well Sean.
