I can definitely see a young ghost moving selfishly and removing all obstacles out the way rising to power. Making mistakes similar to younger Kanan actions leading to consequences and reactions cycles . Trusting few loyal to few moving the obstacles who stand in the way of Vision and plans for the future
I once seen a power fan say “there are no good guys in Power.. only bad guys or worse guys!” At some point we have to accept that all though this is a tv show and we will naturally gravitate towards certain characteristics these are drug dealing murderous mfs. I think it’s fucked up everyone hates Tariq for setting up Kannan but nobody seems to hate Kannan for suffocating an innocent old lady with a Jesus pillow. Everyone hated Riq for how he did Ghost but no one hated Ghost for how he did Rolla. The hypocrisy for me sometimes makes me question people me moralistic awareness.
Kanan is generally someone I would consider the most evil character in ANY work of fiction, he makes Gustavo Fring seem like somebody you'd invite over for cake and coffee lol. The only fictional characters who may surpass Kanan are Emperor Palpatine & his minions from Star Wars, as well as possibly Commodus from Gladiator and The Joker from The Dark Knight may be on a similar level.
Tariq is not respected cause he is nothing like his father…Ghost came up in the game while Tariq was forced into the game cause Starz couldn’t afford to pay Ghost😂😂😂
Tariq is a created player, we talking about the ultimate crash dummy. Didnt have to chose the streets , come from a family that had money & was putting him in position but he chose to be goofy
If anything Tariq is like young kanan if you pay attention they both think they know everything but don't and keep messing up but slowly learn from their mistakes
Idk bro fans love Ghost so much he can do no wrong lol. In my day to day life I don’t fuck with snitches but Ghost was that guy on screen lol Omari entertained viewers on another level so most fans will make excuses for Ghost no matter what 😂
I think the reason that tariq even helped Tommy by leaving the door open was that he owed him like ghost had told him when he took his money and that was tariqs way of repaying him remember when Tommy called him that night the first thing Tariq thought he was calling about was him getting expelled from school cause of drugs but Tommy told him that will be dealt with later
I agree , ghost was just as slimey as Dre ghost was just more liked so we looked past it … ghost took out breeze then set kanan up years down the line to takeover the business because he didn’t wanna be no #2 . And he was just as reckless & ruthless at Tariq age kanan said ghost did “whatever the fuck he wanted to do back in the day & didn’t care what nobody else thought “ and he was a real killer from the block
Also I’m interested to see where they start this at cuz if ghost & Tommy are only like 15-17 it’s gone be a long run cuz ghost doesn’t set kanan up till ghost is 25 in power ghost is 35 and they stated several times kanan been locked up for 10 years so ghost had a 10 year run as the #1 of his operation but he doesn’t become the #1 distro in NY till the OG power is on
@ never said Dre was on ghost level I just said how ghost was moving against kanan & breeze was how Dre was moving against Tommy he was Grimey & slimey ghost at a younger age I have no doubt he was much worse then Dre & Tariq
Ghost was smart in school just like Tariq but he got Tariq beat cause he had street smarts as a kid and could fight so he ain’t need a gun to scare mfs like Tariq that’s the difference. Tariq a bih without a gun Ghost not
I LIKE HOW U SLID IN #PENGUIN REFERENCE ITS A GREAT MULTI LAYERED SHOW WE NEED RECAPS FAM! SOPHIA TRYING TO GIVE RAQ A RUN FOR HER MONEY AS MY FAVORITE HEADCASE BAD GIRL‼️🤣🤣🙃
He left his family to live with his side chick... made a business decision without discussing with his wife, and killed his entire crew, so he could (sort of?) get out the life... Tariq was a child and Tasha was with him since her childhood.
Living a double life providing and giving your family the best opportunities to occur meanwhile protecting the family and his identity from the wrath of the streets daily?!? A person in those kind of positions put alot of thought and effort into risk. Calculated beyond measure. The selfishness that actually comes to play is self preservation. That is the number rule and law of the land. Other than that...the character we was shown was definitely trying exit the game citing family woes occurring from within the home. How does a spouse working against you and your family's dream of being safe and secured doesn't warrant being left. And any skeezer could've came along and been a home wrecker but instead it was someone with a past history that made some kind of damn sense. 😮💨
Tasha didn't want him to evolve and once Ghost realized all she wanted was to be the wife of druf kingpin he washed his hands with their marriage... tbh he nvr was in love with her to begin with
it might be that Kanaan kills Raq and conspires w/Ghost to kill his father leaving then only one person in Ghost way, Breeze which Kanaan sets Tommy and Ghost up to kill. For me I think it is Kanaan who is the mastermind behind it all and Ghost was the student and Kanaan was the master who had it all, including Tasha. Ghost had too much love for KANAAN to kill him so he did the next best thing. Unlike Kanaan who would just eliminated all who stood in his way. So I believe that most hated will be Kanaan, the chess master himself who taught Ghost everything he knew and groomed him to be the man he became. As for Like father Like Son, Tarik is becoming a lot like his father, Kanaan.
Just imagine if they had still ghost n Tommy was still doing them together while Tariq an Brayden was doing they thing while they all were n the streets they would of had procter still to have there backs n they added Davis to the team man they would of been unstoppable procter n Davis are two of the top lawyers n nyc
I have a theory that Kanan & Breeze are the reason Curtis St Patrick is dead. Bc Jamie went to go live with Tommy & Kate immediately after. I believe Tommy’ll try to peddle on a block that belongs to Breeze, & that’ll be the reason Kanan & Ghost get introduced Kanan & Breeze’ll make the connection before Ghost does, making it easier for them to manipulate him.. but once Jamie pieces it tg, it’ll lead to the end of both Breeze & Kanan
Hmmm good thoughts but man I don’t think Ghost killed his father idk why it doesn’t seem like it only because the first episode when He had opening night at Truth he spoke out loud like Look Pop I did it … doesn’t seem like a person who killed his father .. plus idk why he would
This is why people don't like Ghost, for the simple fact that, no one tells the full story. Ghost wanted to go legit but no one wanted to listen to Ghost idea of becoming legit.
That’s because he was the glue to everything and once that is gone it’s hard for everyone else to function so instead of supporting him for wanting to go legit and better his life they rather do things to keep him in and by him staying in behind them consequences of the game happens , Shawn dies; Tasha had a hand in that to and I believe Kanan felt some type of way about that , yes Kanan pulled the trigger but Tasha had a hand in that manipulating him just to get her way. Reina died , got caught up in Tariq business the stuff he was doing and who gets blamed for all of that? Ghost; why? Because it’s easier to do so but that was Ghost whole point of wanting to get out that life because it bring consequences that you have no control over even like a person like Ghost himself that always 5 steps ahead of things at the end of the day everyone has their day where they not ahead and Ghost had his days, daughter got killed and a boy he raised died that got caught up in some stuff. The only thing Ghost came up short on was I feel like earlier on he should’ve sat Tariq down and told him about everything he grew up in. By the time Ghost got around to doing that it was kinda to late Tariq already fed with half truths and lies. It’s just backwards though that you “kill” ghost so then you and your family struggle to get back together and have normal life. So what’s the reason of killing ghost? The reason is because they wanted to be the ones in control the whole time and they set the terms, they felt like Ghost always wins. Even with how the series ended it’s only the beginning and Tariq will have it way worse than him, at the end of the day what makes Tariq special? When you ready to leave the game it ain’t that easy then he will see what Ghost really meant by that. Crazy how ghost last words to Tariq was if you do this shit you can never go back. That line hit hard til this day
50 cent them doing omari hardwiock so wrong downplaying everything and his hard work that he put into the show. I don't care what anyone say Ghost needs to make a return the ending of Book 2 was 💩. Ghost came from the trenches and came up on his own Tariq WILL NEVER COMPARE TO GHOST
Naw I can see it this way I can Tommy liking Angela but ghost getting her first which causing Angela to feel bad and put him with her friend the one who said she canceled Christmas on your boy
As long as it brings Starz subscribers and 50 want to keep it going whats the problem if they don't rush the series it should be fine they've ill keep it going
Breeze wasn’t ghost dad this has already been confirmed. I do believe kanan & breeze will have sumn to do ghost dad dying though they’ll either have a hand in it or outright do it them self’s
Right...I never understood why people loved Ghost so much, he was wretched. Truly. We saw a character who thought he could be legit, but his wife saw right through him. It's funny how folks embraced Ghost, but hated the woman that knew him for what he really was. I hope they write Origins as he should be written.
I think he could've actually went legit but he had no support...his inner circle was built on that lifestyle....n nobody either wanted nor had the skills to do anything other than staying in the game....if Tasha n Tommy would've supported the club business....we wouldnt even have a show...lol
Only thing I disagree with u on is the Angela and Tommy situation becuz Angela said Tommy had a thing for red heads like his mom and Angela didn’t like Tommy
If Power Origins starts with young Tommy & Ghost they better cancel Kanan. It's been dragging from the begin anyway, they just need to bring Omari back and get everything back moving
I have faith that I’ll like a young ghost way better than tariq don’t get me wrong book 2 made me not hate his character anymore but that doesn’t mean I necessarily like his character especially when you rewatch book 2 and realize the tejadas are the ones that solve most of the problems in the show not tariq so that part I blame on book 2 writers there was too many points in the show were monet felt like the actual main character and tariq would have episodes especially in season 4 where he’s just not that important and not doing much
I have been saying this for the longest if they created a show with young Ghost. They were going to "soften" the blow for Tariq by making a young Ghost just as despicable as his "Spawn of Satan" son! Lol 😂 Be prepared Ghost fans! 😂
I honestly never liked ghost. I agree he needed to go...but tasha shoulda pulled the trigga. only thing i hated that tariq did wassend italians on tommy
No she didn't, when Tommy meets Angela for the first time since high school in the milkshake shop in S1E6 and Tommy Tells her about when they were Young and Tommy asked Angela to hook him Up with her Friend some italian girl. I always thought Dre was a mini ghost
He tried…….ghost never dieeeeee
@@kennethaguilar7595🤣🤣🤣🤣 facts

CK did call him Baby Ghost and Tariq Ghost 3.0
All he had to do was follow ghost

Me too
I think that James St Patrick will cause the death of Curtis St Patrick. James St Patrick will bring the thugs to Curtis St. Patrick club.
Yep, I think Ghost finds out that Curtis isn't his real father
Curtis is not the name of Ghost father.

Ghost was way more skilled than Dre could ever be. Ghost was more of a complete character. Ghost could do way more than Dre.
@ never said Dre was on ghost level I just said how ghost was moving against kanan & breeze was how Dre was moving against Tommy he was Grimey & slimey ghost at a younger age I have no doubt he was much worse then Dre & Tariq
Ghost never dieeeee, Dre was never that. Ghost was probably the dumb ass kid Tariq was but now Tariq is a Ghost.
Ghost was smart in school just like Tariq but he got Tariq beat cause he had street smarts as a kid and could fight so he ain’t need a gun to scare mfs like Tariq that’s the difference. Tariq a bih without a gun Ghost not
And ghost and kanan told Tariq themselves that Tariq was smarter than ghost at the age Tariq was around season 3-4.
