I love the way this foundation looks on you. What's surprising is the way you can cover redness with a sheer foundation. Just lovely. My cup of tea, definitely. Thanks for doing the VB contour. It's much warmer than I expected. Thanks for mentioning Alicia's code. I love her. As for Pat McGrath, I'm glad to see a more realistic expiration date. The product is lovely on you. The fact that it dries down is a big plus. Thanks for your review!💚
Hi Lexi, have to say I absolutely love the RDF serum foundation on you and am highly impressed...the finish is gorgeous! The pml blush sticks also look beautiful and everything goes together so well in this look including your lip colour. You look luminous! 💖✨️
Lexi, this looks great on you! I like the coverage on you. I tried this yesterday-twice-because it went on that badly. I needed to wash my hair last night too. I have dry skin in a dry climate. I’ll try again. I did notice an herbal scent that quickly went away. This first reminded me of the Lisa Eldridge in ease of application and coverage.
Thank you! The Surratt feels more like a traditional foundation to me and I need to use more product. The RdF is more dewy and has more coverage. The Surratt gives off a beautiful satin matte finish instead and I think of it as more of a "sophisticated" look vs. a fresh-faced dewy glow from RdF.
Love that Burberry palette. I also purchased their Runway eye palette based on your recommendation & adore it. Hope to see more of this brand on your channel.
Hi! She is doing so well! Thank you for asking. She is growing so quickly. She just climbed in the dishwasher this morning while I was loading it and needed a bath. Lol.
I’d held off on the RDF foundation because I couldn’t figure out the shade. I’m so glad to see that 110 is more neutral (even warm?) than they describe it - I don’t see “cool pink” at all! I think I’ll try it.
So happy to hear you are enjoying the foundation! It is great and it looks beautiful on your skin! I don’t know if I told you, but now my shade doesn’t work for me due to some extra sun I caught while watching my son’s baseball games! And I am slathered with SPF 50 at all times, but my face still tans. So now I’m having the hardest time selecting a new shade! Ugh. Figures, found a foundation I love with a perfect color match and now I’m back at square one! Thanks for the video! Have a great weekend!
I am so glad you recommended it Susan! Shade selection is definitely challenging! I'm sorry it isn't working for you anymore but have you thought about using a liquid bronzer to mix in? Not sure if it would work for you but it might be worth trying until you find the best match.
Good morning Lexi! You look gorgeous! The new RDF serum foundation looks fantastic on your skin and I’m so glad you love it! I have been using the cream base product from Monica Blunder which I have been liking. It’s also a natural product and I can’t detect any scent. It leaves a pretty radiant finish that looks really natural and I just use it more like a concealer. Curious about the VBB contour stick and you wear it beautifully. Thank you for showcasing it. The glow blushes look lovely too on your skin. Thank you for such a great video!! ❤
The foundation looks great on you. I have oily skin so I don’t think it’s for me, but it’s pretty! I do contour under my foundation every day. The WA shade and formula is my favorite. If VB puts out a cooler shade, I’d try it! I got the Divine Rose Pat blush stick, and I surprisingly love it. I’ve used it alone and over her powder blushes to give some glow. I want another one in the peach color too.
Thank you Lisa! I'm so glad you love the WA and PMG! I still think WA Biscuit is the best cream contour (aside from the burberry which looks amazing under foundation.
Hey Lexi I did what you did in terms of the slight wait in the RDF foundation. Both our shades look different than our best match, but they work.🙃 I bought 105 and it goes on light, but it blends with the skin and looks good. I thought of buying a shade up and mixing since I'm CDP O10. I love the finish too, so lovely! I don't really contour either. In summer I do more like a brontour.
Marble in VB contour is the 2nd shade and it's for light to medium skin tones. I have the 1st shade , Travertine, and I love it for my contour. By the way , I am fair with cool undertones, BR12 in Chanel. It is definitely lighter and cooler than Marble.
Happy Saturday Lexi! So excited to hear your thoughts about that VB stick!!! That foundation just went on my radar 😂 … your skin is flawless!! So happy you like the VB contour… love the way you used it in the eyes .. everything just looks so pretty .. Do you by chance have a skincare video or plan on one for summer? Thank you for the sweet shoutout 🩷 Love&light from California 💖💖
Thank you so much Sheri! I have a few skincare videos but I am planning on doing an updated one soon. This is my most recent: ruclips.net/video/wfpf2x0bZ_M/видео.html
I have not tried the PM cream sticks they look pigmented but I have so many cream products right now. I do like the shades you picked up. I’m still on the fence with the VB contour stick. I like it but it doesn’t seem to show up or last on my skin unless I use a lot of product. 😊🌺
I have to agree RDF serum foundation looks perfect on you! Also, I love the PM Divine Rose blush, but the packaging is, well …disappointing. I need to think about that one. Shame on me for letting packaging be a deciding factor.🤦🏼♀️ Forgot to mention I caved and got Hermes 27 Rose Confetti. I am completely obsessed!! I hope it isn’t limited edition. Thanks so much, Lexi.💓
Thank you so much Tammy! When we are spending our hard-earned money on products, packaging should be considered. It would be one thing if it wasn't great packaging because it was eco friendly but when it is just cheap, it takes away from your experience and pleasure of using the product imo. I'm so glad you got rose confetti!!!
I've ordered the lightest shade of VB's contour stick. Just hoping it's not too warm but if it is I'll use as an eyeshadow. I still have the Burberry one which still good & a great shade. The PML blushes look nice & I'm waiting on my order of Divine Rose & Fluerotique. The RDF foundation looks lovely too but it's not available in Australia.
I've been so curious about this foundation but I'm a more combo skin type and I love in. Hot and humid climate. I heard another person liken it to the Ilia Tinted oil which was terrible on me.....do you think this would work for my conditions?
Hmm, for me the Ilia didn't perform as well so I think you have a chance of it working out. It doesn't look like they have samples right now but hopefully they will be adding some to their site. I think if you spend a lot of time outside in the heat and humidity, it may not hold up all day but I think it will perform well on a regular daily basis if you go in and out with the ac.
I think they are pretty different. There is a higher oil content in the RdF and it is more of a dewy look in general. I think it also is higher coverage.
This is a foundation I will get !! I love how it looks, I have seen a few different influencers try it. ! I have dry skin. It’s like the Surratt dew drop kinda Also yeah. The packaging is sadly not fit for thr price
@@Momof3xxy they will have a great sale in the Fall so i would wait for then unless it pops up in the concept store. It's one of my favorite foundation brushes though!
I would absolutely love trying out the foundation. It's always hard to pick from online descriptions so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Do you know if they sell little samples?
Rituel de Fille is usually very good about offering samples on their site but it doesn't look like they have them right now. I'd keep an eye out for them though as they usually have samples of most of their products.
I do not but I have had them threaded. I have had them waxed in the past many years ago but my brows don't grow much and the one time they took off a bit too much so i didn't do anything to them for about a decade. Lol.
Hi Lexi why are the makeup companies putting skin care into makeup when you always put on your skin care anyway ! surly thats what causes pilling and mismatch of primers and skin care , i have found it myself , i use and always Tom Ford, and it drives me nuts when i find my skin care just starts to pill up ! i adore my Tom ford Foundation too ! to me its just to add extra money to cost of the product ! i do contour but i dislike the shade i need a cooler shade i am surprised she hasn’t , i use charlotte Tilbury bronze and glow its the perfect shade for me or charlotte’s contour wand . i prefer charlotte Tilbury blush wands then i will just go ahead and use her highlighter wand too . time factor ! Thank you Lexi for your video its been great ,regards liz x
I passed this up when it was first released because it just sounded like it would be too oily or even would separate because of the oils. It looks so good on yoir skin, though. What's holding me back is having to guess my colour. I currently use the Cle de Peau in the jar in I10, and sometimes think its too pink. How does this compare to that? I know cle de peau's liquid foundation is a little darker than the one in the jar.
I am hoping they will put out some sample shades on their site soon. Color matching is really a challenge. I use the same CdP shade and this is a bit warmer so it might be a good match for you. You are right that it is a touch darker. You could try the 100 but I think that will have a touch of pink.
@@LexiJong thank you so much for the feedback. Samples would be great, which I know they have for their formula. The good thing is this isn't crazy expensive compared to some other foundations, so getting a slightly off shade wouldn't hurt is much. Lol
Any foundation that calls itself an oil…I’m out. Lol I hate everyone I’ve ever tried. But I do love the PM blush sticks. I love mixing with jeer powder blushes too. Balm on top ala Patrick Ta.
It is probably both. Our air quality reports were in the purple zone when I filmed this and of course taking Sadie out is still a necessity although we were brief. The smoke here was pretty bad for a few days and is finally getting better.
I love anything Pat McGrath but this is a no from me, and it’s not because of the packaging. It’s like it’s not even there. I don’t think it shows up on the skin - just makes it greasy it seems

Yes 110 is definitely neutral with a slight hint of a warm peach. I don't see the cool pink either.
