There is a definite British vibe to the game, with thatched cottages, narrowboats on the canal and, of course, in UK toilets are in cubicles. Stalls are for horses!
I picked up this game for free (it was at bargain basement price and the store gave me a free coupon for my birthday). I thought I’d watch your video before playing to give me an idea on how to start and I thought it was perfect. I don’t play these types of games too often so the explanations were perfect.
I've been interested in this game, so chuffed to see you're doing a play through with it. Naming wings or departments seems a really good shout. Maybe giving nick names to folk could be more story led, depending on how much character the staff and students are given. Time-lapses could be fun, though I do like the pace of this episode, as an introduction the lack of time-lapse really suits. Just to let Party know, at least in the UK, cubical is a really common term for toilets and quite common for showers, more so in these parts than stall. Though that's just based on my personal experience, not sourced haha. Really interested to see where this playthrough goes. What shenanigans shall Party get up to as faculty head?

that dorm better be temporary, cause having a dorm in the center of a school like that looks ugly. in my opinion that is, i would make it a separate building
why not place any bins in the halls? if the AI is like that of 2 point hospital then 60% of people who buy things will dump the trash right there on the ground if they dont see a bin close by, also as far as i know it is KU-dosh dosh being british slang for money.

Iv started playing this game and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I start a new year and found I had two many students. How do you control how many students come into your campus or how do I keep control off it. They ended up walking around my campus with a red icon above there head.

Thanks. You have convinced me that this is not the game for me. Not because its bad but it just looks like a variation of two point hospital. I think they would have been better off making a two point hotel based on what I have seen, that may be a sequel.

That's exactly the inspiration! The previous game from these devs was Two Point Hospital and it was 100% a spiritual successor to the amazing Theme Hospital.
Only flaw with this game is the requirement for hallways. Why can’t I have the lecture hall for Scientigraphy accessible from its classroom? Other than that this a joyous game and equally joyous PE content!

They're very much inspired by Bullfrog Productions' work - Theme Hospital => Two Point Hospital being an excellent example =) I wonder if they'll ever make a Two Point Park?
I already have a name suggestion! For the lecture hall, why don't we name it to celebrate Dr. Par T. E. Leet, a dedicated historian and archeo-sociologist who specializes in the Indian Subcontinent, remarkable for his books on the importance of Harappan culture and the Rise and Fall of the Mughal empire (I don't remember correctly how to spell it, but it was from the Humankind India playthrough).
I think you Need a another restroom. and a few more vending machines. And possible prepare for maybe another dorm. but other than that i think you been doing great so far.
one thing that might make things easier on your janitors is putting bins near the vending machines, i know those things generated litter in 2p hospital, so i assume it’d be the same in 2p campus lol
For the most part it looks like a reskin of 2P Hospital, but I really hope they've learned from their mistakes and ironed out most of the un-fun elements. Simple things like being able to categorize staff and not need to spam certificates in every room just to get prestige, etc. Little QoL improvements can often add so much to a game. The theme also allows for a lot more creativity than the hospital setting, too, so hopefully they'll have some fresh ideas. It's on my watchlist for sure.

Yeah I haven't played this yet, but I think I might like it better. In TPH all the diseases were way too wacky, it didn't feel like a hospital

With the dormitories, is it 1 dormitory satisfies 5 people or 1 bed satisfies 5 people
Its 1 bed covers 5 students - you can put as many beds in one dorm as you want, but I believe students start to get grumpy if it's too many.
Of course you need an associated Institute of PARTY as well :P
