I’m a recent subscriber from New Zealand mid 50s and just got back into the Retro BMX scene I Love your Rad builds. I have keep one of my bikes since the 80s a 82 Diamond Back Silver Streak which I’m planning to resurrect using a lot of its original parts but going to use red anodised parts as I’ve always thought they look Great !
Also have a 81 Redline and a 99-2000 Dave Mira 540 Air in Red and a Non BMX 1974 Raleigh Chopper 3 speed.
So I’m bitten by the bike bug bad.👍😎

I have been out of this game a long time. I just started looking. It looks like some of this stuff is getting reproduced, but what about the brakes and wheels/tires? Are you finding nice NOS stuff?

Yes, lots of stuff is getting reproduced but you can also find old stuff.

Too bad the bear traps didn't work out. Personally I was never a fan of the 'icecream bar' peddles - other then that, awesome build!
