If a door brakes on your self ligating brackets during your treatment how is this repaired to prevent you from having to go back in wires by replacing the whole bracket and extending treatment time?
I would love an explanation 🙏🏻 if you could kindly share your opinion in this area 😉 remembering that it’s just the door that is broken not the bracket like if it won’t stay closed or won’t open 😉
Why all dentist don't used this? Is tht bec.to earned more money sying tht rubbers should b rplaced evry mos.? It really cost money. Huhu!
here in my country the price difference is too high. around 2k higher than traditional braces.

Hello doctor. So, I use the braces on the upper teeth only, it is because the teeth on my upper jaw are overlap (messy) while my lower jaw has no problem. And then I have read an article a while back that said putting on braces in one jaw only isn't good for both jaw arches. Is it true? and why did it happen? My dentist didn't tell me about this struggle. literally my dentist just ask me to choose between upper or lower jaw or even both would be bracketed. then I choose the upper jaw only bcs like I said before, the teeth on my lower jaw has no problem(straight). So, should I putting on braces in my lower teeth? is it okay?

Did u require extractions with this? I mean is it really effective cuz they say extractions aren't necessary.
@@richardimmanuel9775 I didn’t receive any and didn’t need any.. unless the teeth are bad . I don’t think you need them
@@Lalaundercover389 yes really. But they changed it to where we can’t get them on our bottom teeth now Bc apparently people haven’t been keeping up with hygiene 🙄
My daughter has this and she does not go back for 8 weeks I Don't get how they work if you don't go get them tightened.
katie manry How is your daughter's teeth coming along?
With traditional elastic ligatures you have to go back more often because the elastic wears out. With these wires being locked into the bracket there is no elastic wear so "tightening" needs to be done only through a change of wire as opposed to wire and elastic ligature.
Anna Dee She is doing amazing with them her teeth are straight. She goes in just to get a bigger wire put in every 8 weeks.
katie manry I have tradition braces, and go every 6 weeks. I guess it depends on how severe the straightening is.There's nothing like a metal smile!😬
