I felt sorry for Hannah Waterman, during this scene. Saying Michelld Collins and Tazmin Outwaith are both far more beautiful and glamarous than her is so rotten. Acting can be such a rotten business. Shame on the EastEnders' scriptwriters!
Ian just couldn't stop making trouble for himself. I think if he had of leaving Phil alone Phil would of left him alone but Ian always just had to wind Phil up and the fight usually ended up with Phil coming out on top.
This was when we were seeing Phil's more crazier side after Grant's exit. Prior to that Phil was always the calmer Mitchell brother. Phil was madder than mad here in this clip though. He was furious and I wish he had put the slimey weasel Beale in a wheelchair. He would have done if Laura had not been around. As Phil said, he had always cut Ian some slack until then when Ian crossed Phil yet again.
When Phil said "I'm gonna take you down. You won't know where, you won't know when, but it's gonna happen, believe me.", Ian sounded like he was just about to be sick in Phil's face!!😀😀😀
You know that would be a good idea, Its a pity Ian never threw a punch against his greatest enemy and rival Phil Mitchell, the closest they ever got to a real fight was when Ian tried to hit Phil with a bat but Phil quickly out-powered him while the closest Ian got to punching Phil was when Phil grabbed him while having a heart attack and Ian threatened to punch Phil, I wish he hit him though.
I thought Ian would of known better than to cross Phil. I know it was over Lisa losing her job but I remember seeing that episode when Lisa's boss sacked her Phil told him she just quit so it seems it was as much Phil's fault as Ian's that Lisa got sacked, maybe Lisa would of still had a job if Phil didn't interfere. Did he not like Lisa having a job?
Whether Ian is a wuss or not, or whether if Ian hurts his hand or not, I think its about time Ian punches Phil back, because his rivalry with Phil (as well as seeing him helpless everytime around Phil) is really annoying me.
he didnt actually fight ali he just punched him over a row over the cafe, he floored him but even nick took ali, i just saw a brief clip of it on eastenders greatest cliffhangers, that fight in the cafe was mehmet and ali in 1989 after ali walked in on mehmet and sue kissing, there were no punches just as you say jumping around like bad dancers.
that punch on den was pathetic, he did floor ali osman in 89, i saw the clip on bb3 one night, he actually took up boxing at 1 point and beat his opponent, the clip was up on youtube, he punched christian in 08 in the vic after christian encouraged lucy to go on the pill, he didnt floor him but christian felt a bit sore, he clip masood hurting hurting his hand but masood felt a little bit of pain, phil told him to hit him in 2007 or was it 8 when phil and ian took the kids camping but ian didnt.
Maybe not punch, at least seeing Ian hit Phil with a weapon will be satisfying enough to me, similar to Johnny Allen whacking Phil with a stick (Ian tried to do that to Phil years ago with a pole, though unsucessfully). With Ian having a mental breakdown now, when he returns, his personality may darken a bit because all the women who he has fallen in love with, have dumped him, and he even blamed Phil for a moment for Mandy leaving (I don't know if he would snap against Phil though).
Phil Mitchell's a dirty pig, who slept with his brother's wife, betraying him, and ruining his life and marriage. I'm very surprised that Ian didn't shoot him in that "Who Shot Phil?" storyline. He probably would have shot him more than once, finishing him off, resulting in "Who Killed Phil Mitchell?" instead. Grant's always been better than Phil Mitchell. He called Ian "a sneaky little grass", but Phil Mitchell's a disgusting home wrecker. Ian should have called the police to have Phil Mitchell charged, or he should have also considered getting a Doberman, Rottweiler or a German Shepherd to rip Phil Mitchell to shreds.
When Phil blamed Terry for something he didn't do just as Phil was walking away Terry should have shouted Phil whata mistaka ta maka! Any fans of Allo Allo or remember the sitcom and the actors and their characters. Will know what I am talking about.
i dont see how phil is hard hes over weight and in his 50s when it came to a real fight he would be pretty useless ive done my fair bit of fighting in my youth some with fat people they can use there body weight as an advantage but someone with more stamina is not going to give them the chance to get close to them its been the small skinny guys like ian beale thats had me out not the big guys
Phil is not very tall but the shorter men are the hardest IMHO and they can take down people over a foot taller than them. I have seen people about 6 foot 5 being bested by someone half their size. Size doesn't matter.
@broman178 A cant remember that when ian when to hit him with a bat. is it on here do you know? yeah ian should have throwing a punch to him, like a say it would be great to see him flip 1 day and beat him to a pulp but to be totally honest cannit see it ever happening but a would love to see it happen after all those years being scared of phil and owned by him
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Phil is definitely an eastenders legend.
20 years ago last week this aired, 20 July 2000. Unreal.
I felt sorry for Hannah Waterman, during this scene. Saying Michelld Collins and Tazmin Outwaith are both far more beautiful and glamarous than her is so rotten. Acting can be such a rotten business. Shame on the EastEnders' scriptwriters!
That squeek at 2:26 made my day hahaha
He was always making that little noise lol
@@stuartsloan8751 That's the noise weasels make.
Bazanji Squeal Beale🤣
Hahaha Steve McFadden plays Phil very well
''you'll need a wheelchair'' hahahaha
When Phil and Ian leave EastEnders it will never be the same again
Ian just couldn't stop making trouble for himself. I think if he had of leaving Phil alone Phil would of left him alone but Ian always just had to wind Phil up and the fight usually ended up with Phil coming out on top.
Darren Belton I agree

The way Ian goes to the door classic
I didn't really think it was fair that Phil let Ian go bankrupt. After all he was Ian's stepfather and father of his half brother.
What is the song playing in the vic?
i remember it but i cant think of the name.
When Phil said "I'm gonna take you down. You won't know where, you won't know when, but it's gonna happen, believe me.", Ian sounded like he was just about to be sick in Phil's face!!😀😀😀
Yes thats what I'm talking about, so far that was the closest Phil and Ian got to a fight.

Oh right cheers!
What does Phil say at 2:32? Something about breaking Ian's bones?
i think ian craps his pants to
pembo3000 how do you know ?
20 July 2000

Did Phil apologize to Terry for wrongfully accusing him of costing Lisa her job? Just wondering
Ian is disturbed
2:15😂😂
anyone else think phil was given a right good fkin hahaha
Those bones are gonna mend are they 😂😂

Oh Ian,lol.I dont know what it is but I always enjoy your pathetic pain.
Ian could of made an effort to get on with Phil. What was it that started the feud between them or who started it that's what I'd like to know.
Darren Belton same here 🤔🤔
I think they started their feud in 1995 when Ian was making comment about phil and Kathy they phil put his head in the toilet
2:25 lol
@toneboy101 no on dennis's stag do he was offering everyone a fight because he went karate then johnny punched him in the belly lol
"not just break a few bones, they're gonna mend aint they..."
i wish i knew what this was about. what did ian do and why did he have a go at terry?
Ian told some stuff to Phil's missus Lisa's boss which got her sacked.
It's all his fault for interfering, no wonder Phil beats him up all the time.
i know, i would feel more sorry for ian if he was a nice person but he's just a snide weasly little prick
Why didn't Ian fight back?
He is a wimp, he is too scared to fight back against guys even less stronger than phil, he only fights when he is angry or drunk
He didn't fight back because Phil Mitchell is a hard nut with a vicious temper. I wouldn't want to cross him.
Woulld be suicide
@toneboy101 yh i think if you type in dennis's stag do or something like that but it was hilarious.

@Omnysheet True.
Typical Phil.
Typical Ian. He never learns the consequences after he grasses.
Yeah, and that's why his women left him, and didn't want him. The same with Grant and his women.
When Phil blamed Terry for something he didn't do just as Phil was walking away Terry should have shouted Phil whata mistaka ta maka!

There is a serious flaw in your argument ,i.e Ian is a gutless little prick who cannot back up his big mouth ,whereas Phil can .
Just because Phil is fat doesn't mean he can't fight. There's many world champion boxers and MMA fighters who are fat
Phil is not very tall but the shorter men are the hardest IMHO and they can take down people over a foot taller than them. I have seen people about 6 foot 5 being bested by someone half their size. Size doesn't matter.

see ian is very hard he offered dennis a fight then got battered by johnny who was like 65
2:02 sexy lol
Lol
