I have a paddlette but almost never used it. I think mine has a keyer, a couple of memories and a buzzer built in. It looks very similar to yours but is not exactly the same. Nice little keyer. I should use it more. Have fun with it. 73.
I am so used to using straight key that I don't think I could ever make the switch to a paddle. I think bugs and cooties were originally designed to help with "glass arm" or what today we would call repetative strain injury. The iambic paddle was a further development.

You loosen it on top. You adjust it on the side. You tighten it on top.

Iv got a ww2 portable radio opperators straight key that has two canvas straps to attach it to your thigh in my collection.
I will take a guess that it's a W.T. 8AMP key that you have.
