Ghulam ali is too humble despite such a talent. He is a prolific composer, he has composed countless number of classics by combining various ragas and taals. He has so much control on surs and taal that he can set any poetry with any raag with any taal in real time. He can tell you sragam of any tune you give him. He has the unmatched dexterity on harmonium too. He can enthrall the audience even with harmonium only without even singing a single note. In all he is beyond many so called ustad of classical music.

ustad ghulam ali saab was visiting toronto , and is a very good friend of mohanji n surtaal promotions , so was in the audience as a great honour and , ustad ghulam ali saab is a gentlemen and was very supportive of his friend ustad tari saab . Both of them have worked together for so many years and eventually they never had the chance to work together . ustad tari saab has no ego problem , and ustad ghulam ali saab came to hey to his friends tari saab and mohanji..... please disregard the comments about ego and, yes ustad tari saab likes singing and will sing as he is a disciple of ustad mehdi hassan ji and , tari saab sings well .

Mr Karanji is a great Tablaplayer ,,, student of Ustad Zakir ji ,,, however sometimes the nerves gets to u ,,, especially with Ghulam Ali Saab sitting in front of you ,,,, once’s he overcame that , and without a prior sitting with ustadji ,,,, he played very well … u shouldnt judge or comment without knowing and analyzing all the facts …. Karanji can stand up for his reputation and can give u run for ur money … and whenever u r ready pls msg me ,,, Karan can have competition with u ,,, and we will all find out if u still hold the same comments haha

Ghazal ? What is ghazal ? Is it not an easier way of singing for the low tone softer voices ? No offense to any one but , millions of Mehdi Hassan's or his imitators will not equal even 10 percent of Rafi sahabs heavenly voice
Tari does not look too happy to see Ghulam Ali. Seems the bad blood between them still exists many decades after the dissolution of their partnership back in the late 80s. Everyone always talks about how music brings people together and most artists do their absolute best to remain humble in the limelight... the fact is that the music business (indian industry no different) is an absolute hunger games industry. Musicians with massive egos (10:55) seldom get along together. There isn't a single band or group in musical history that hasn't faced internal implosion & oblivion at some point. Most don't make it. Those that do grin and bear it because the $ keeps rolling in... sort of like working for a living I guess for 99% of the population. While I'm sure the organizers may not have any ill intentions... they should never bring top artists together without getting their permission first. It's not a coincidence that you rarely, if ever, see 2 top artists in the same line at the same event at the same time. It just doesn't happen... not by chance, but by intent. I've seen my share of musical break-ups over the years... it's the same root cause cocktail - EGO & INSECURITY. Tops artists have massive EGOs (you can see this in the accompanying tabla solo video @ 15:00). Organizers should respect each artist's respective domain. Peace to humanity.
