The metal pieces at the beginning are made by pouring hot metal into ant beds. The metal is allowed to cool and then dug up. It shows the structure of the ant colony.
Im so glad to have found your chanel - its quite hard to find videos where people like looking at nice pretty things - too many around of people looking for video games ,pokeman and stuff like that - I like your taste and enjoy your great sense of humour , its so natural - new subscriber here from Scotland
and you continue to be so adorable and so knowledgeable about things. Loved this show very much and would love to shop with you!! Love your humor as well!!!
Some very pretty objects at that market. As for the Diana joke …. well nobody is flawless. Neither was she but I think we can agree to let her rest in peace. Do hope you got that ballerina music box. Love it!
"What are they made of? Did a wasp have anything to do with it?".... lol, Jeffrey, so quick with the witty banter 😸 Love those noodle poodles and the Modertone cups. Lots of goodies at this flea market! 🐆🌟💗🌻
In regards to those lovely amethyst glass plates, the technique used to put those figures on is more of the style of Pâte-sur-pâte, which is a French term meaning "paste on paste". It is a method of porcelain decoration in which a relief design is created on an unfired, unglazed body, usually with a coloured body, by applying successive layers of (usually) white porcelain slip (liquid clay) with a brush. Once the main shape is built up, it is carved away to give fine detail, before the piece is fired. The work is very painstaking and may take weeks of adding extra layers and allowing them to harden before the next is applied. The usual colour scheme is a white relief on a contrasting coloured background, which in England was often Parian ware. The effect is somewhat similar to other types of relief decoration, in particular sprigging. However, unlike Jasperware, for example, a mould is not normally used, and the ceramic artist is able to achieve translucency. The method also gives results resembling cameos in stone or cameo glass.
I laughed when you said Play-Doh salty. Good ending to your show. Great finds, I hope you bought that dancing ballerina music box, she is just an oldie and shocked it worked at all.
Sandy went from seashells to pickles! I would think one would start out selling pickles and then retire and sell seashells by the seashore. Silly Sandy!😂
That was a great market, you really nailed the Martha Stewart noodle poodle impression. Once again thanks for the detailed information in describing things. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
I actually felt a bit bad for laughing out loud 😅, but I do have a really dark sense of humor and I think Jeffrey does as well, I’m sure he meant no harm 😅😂
I haven't seen to a flea market in years. I went with a friend I can't even remember.where it's at. I'm more of a thrift store person. I really like all of the things you bought. My favorite was the ring and the vase. Looks like your move to Florida was just what you needed.
Love that single shaker -- beautiful. I think single shakers can be used for dusting chocolate powder over hot chocolate or cinnamon, things like that (though usually those are larger, but used in restaurants -- so a small one would be good for home use :)
Loved the ballerina Jeffrey. Also the delpht tree, never saw one like that. So pretty. Thanks for telling us about crazing, only thought it was on old pieces. I always like your commentary Jeffrey but the princess diana comment kind of bothered me. Great flea market😊
This is the flea market that my dad would set up in years ago. He had a camper and a trailer that he pulled behind it. He was oblivious but I was watching out the back window. To my horror, my dad was cutting the corners short and was wiping out tables with his trailer. YIKES!!!
What a terrific flea market...I would be broke after this one. 🤣 Still drooling over the perfume bottles at the end, & was hoping you would buy some, so I could snag one on your live Sales! Still great & unique items. 💞
OMG the frogs. I am looking for a lid for an item given me by my grandma. If I sent you a picture could you keep an eye out for it. I have a broken knee cap that will not heal so I am pretty much home bound. Much love to you and Aaron. Rebecca
To all of you who were upset by Jeffrey's remark about Diana, how do you feel about William and Kate having to bow and curtsy to Queen Camilla? Now that's offensive!
Actually, William was very close to his Dad. He's also very close to the title of being his royal highness. Harry, on the other hand, was more like his mother..
The poodles are made out of sweet gum seeds that are prolific in Florida and they hurt like heck when you step on them. Floridians have a four letter word name for them.... foot "f"-ers! Lots of crafters use them to make things; just check any Christmas bazaar to find sweet gum ornaments.
I may be wrong but The necklace may be for Libra?? I'm a libra. And the back may be all of the zodiac signs? I had a milk glass plate like that. Killing me with the martha stewart impression. 😅😅😅 The ballerina....incredible!!!
OH LORD . People pic your battles .. it has been years. Did any of you lose sleep over it when it happened .. just saying... was the truth .. and I did shead a year as I heard in middle of the night on the CNN.. only other I have shed was Elvis .. was in 8th grade.. hey Elvis is sideways also ...pRACE
Her death has raised questions and has never been confirmed It was tragic It’s a joke yes but a bit poor taste for many. Yes it’s inevitable but sensitivity is always best. Yes I know people can get carried away but I think this should be rethought carefully. I love his humor omg He’s my favorite but this one was a bit more than I expected
Geez, the last thing I expected when I clicked on a Jeffrey video was drama. The whole reason his videos are the only ones I try never to miss out of the handful of resellers I watch is because he's not relentlessly PC about everything & neither am I. I suspect off camera he's even more of a hoot, lol. Then again, I'm not much for idolizing people I've never met, especially from another country. Jeffrey, blue raspberry was always my flavor choice growing up, blue mouth & all. 👍
I think the metal clusters are from ant holes. They melt the metal, pour it in the hole, let it cool, dig it out and wash it off. Those look very small. Watch some videos on you tube. They can be huge and quite beautiful.
I believe the necklace you found with the scales is the zodiac sign Libra (9/23-10/22) Great finds ❤ Looks like Florida agrees with you stay safe and happy! That hat (at first I thought it was a decorated cake) 😂 with the pink flowers would have been awesome to wear to the Kentucky Derby 🐎👒
Your sense of humor makes me happy. 😊🤗 💗
this is one of your best videos. i love that you explained and identified so many if the items.
This video is a good one to rewatch, well all of the ones I have seen are good. Love your humor and knowledge 🎉 thanks

Good Martha Stewart impression!!🤣
Great Martha Stewart impression!
The metal pieces at the beginning are made by pouring hot metal into ant beds. The metal is allowed to cool and then dug up. It shows the structure of the ant colony.
Poor ants! 🐜🐜🐜
Wow i had no idea! Thanks Chelsea!
@@daddykitch You're welcome. Try looking up RUclips videos on it. It's pretty amazing how wide and deep the ant colony goes into the ground.
Good g-d that is terrifying
@@chelseaswindle7982 I looked some up and its kinda crazy how its done!
I enjoy all your comments about what you're looking at. Not sure about the Lady Di comment though.🙃
I watch you because I love the way you explain about all the things that you pick up and not pick up. But you explain it. Thank you. Sonia

Love that music box! Really liked the baby quilt the black plates were sitting on! I'm a quilter and appreciate the work.
The quilt was amazing!

Some very pretty objects at that market. As for the Diana joke …. well nobody is flawless. Neither was she but I think we can agree to let her rest in peace. Do hope you got that ballerina music box. Love it!
Amazing Flea! Too bad it's in Florida.
I would love to be able to buy there.
"What are they made of? Did a wasp have anything to do with it?".... lol, Jeffrey, so quick with the witty banter 😸 Love those noodle poodles and the Modertone cups. Lots of goodies at this flea market! 🐆🌟💗🌻
So much good stuff!

Wow! Thanks for the valuable information!
So should he have bought it for that price point?
If they were $30 each, that is high for them. If they were $30 for the pair, then that is a decent price.
Thanks for the video! Great shopping with you again!
I laughed when you said Play-Doh salty. Good ending to your show. Great finds, I hope you bought that dancing ballerina music box, she is just an oldie and shocked it worked at all.

You do a great Martha Stewart. Thanks for the video Jeffrey!
Yes you do!!
Really enjoy your running commentary on the things you see.
Your knowledge on pieces… I love!! The perfume bottles… awww just beautiful!😊
Fun flea market, do you think the scale pendant is a Libra symbol? Lol still too soon for the Princess Diana joke for me 😅
Please, Edit that part about Diana out of this video
Agree.
The Princess Diana joke was not a nice joke.
I actually felt a bit bad for laughing out loud 😅, but I do have a really dark sense of humor and I think Jeffrey does as well, I’m sure he meant no harm 😅😂
That dancing music box is amazing!
I grew up there and the market is huge...hope you enjoyed it there.
I have a gargoyle that's a lot like the one you saw. I call him Percy ❤
I can’t get over how much you sound just like Martha!! 😂😂
Loved the frog canisters and some of that blue glass. Lots of cool stuff. Thanks Jeffrey

Love your videos and your sense of humor is wonderful.
The commentary was the best part of today, your wit makes me giggle😂
Love that single shaker -- beautiful. I think single shakers can be used for dusting chocolate powder over hot chocolate or cinnamon, things like that (though usually those are larger, but used in restaurants -- so a small one would be good for home use :)
Great idea! Im putting chocolate powder in mine now! Lol

I laughed so much watching this video. Thank you for sharing!!
That salty play dough joke took me back to the good old days when taking a bite of play dough seemed like a good idea. 😂
What a terrific flea market...I would be broke after this one. 🤣 Still drooling over the perfume bottles at the end, & was hoping you would buy some, so I could snag one on your live Sales! Still great & unique items. 💞
Those were cool bottles!

I wish i still had my 1970s mood ring.. we all had one .. ❤
I still have one, and yes from the 70's
OMG the frogs. I am looking for a lid for an item given me by my grandma. If I sent you a picture could you keep an eye out for it. I have a broken knee cap that will not heal so I am pretty much home bound. Much love to you and Aaron. Rebecca
Seconds 0-12 giving us comedy 🤣😂🤣 lighten up people
I love your channel. You describe everything so I can understand it. How it works and what they have done in putting them together. You it. Thank you
Oh the beauties there! I would need a trolley to cart it all away.😍😍😍😍😍😍
The Will George Pond and flamingoes are to die for - love them. You could have bought them and sold the flamingoes you didn't need.
Love your video, showing how to recognize glass marks is very helpful
Had a good time with you love your finds
To all of you who were upset by Jeffrey's remark about Diana, how do you feel about William and Kate having to bow and curtsy to Queen Camilla? Now that's offensive!
Actually, William was very close to his Dad. He's also very close to the title of being his royal highness. Harry, on the other hand, was more like his mother..
that was a really interesting flea market! glad you found some things....wonderful!
Jeffery remember to try the Gelato in Italy. It's Italy ice!
Thanks, Jeffrey! You helped me to identify some recent purchases. 😊
The poodles are made out of sweet gum seeds that are prolific in Florida and they hurt like heck when you step on them. Floridians have a four letter word name for them.... foot "f"-ers! Lots of crafters use them to make things; just check any Christmas bazaar to find sweet gum ornaments.
Great info! Thank you😊
I LOVE the Holland Christmas tree. Go back!!!!
I may be wrong but The necklace may be for Libra?? I'm a libra. And the back may be all of the zodiac signs?
I had a milk glass plate like that.
Killing me with the martha stewart impression. 😅😅😅
The ballerina....incredible!!!
Oh I'm so jelly. I would love
Such beautiful stuff at these sales great video as always jeefrey❤❤❤
I loved the frog canisters. I would have bought them from you!
I was thinking the same. I even looked online for them. 😆
Lots of fun treasures ! I always learn from you Jeffery ❤
The Lady Diana remark was pretty cold. Sometimes being snarky comes off as sounding rude.
But I love the Martha Stewart voice impressions !!!!!
I agree with not mocking Diana's fate 😔
I agree...be a little more sensative...
Even if he had said it about my own mother, I would have just thought what he said was actually true.
I am still laughing about the Italian ice being like play doe
FYI - The Vineyard Vines metal whale bottle opener at 9:24 sells for $25 plus ship used. That brand of clothes sells high also.
Great flea market. Saw lots of things I would love to buy. Just don’t have it in me to watch you full video tonight. Been a long day.
So much cool stuff!! The Italian ice looked yummy!
Her death has raised questions and has never been confirmed
It was tragic
It’s a joke yes but a bit poor taste for many.
Yes it’s inevitable but sensitivity is always best.
Yes I know people can get carried away but I think this should be rethought carefully.
I love his humor omg
He’s my favorite but this one was a bit more than I expected
Oh please tell me you got the ballerina music box! Love that!😊
Those glass dishes you say are butter dishes we would use them for toasted english muffins with that shape.❤❤
Geez, the last thing I expected when I clicked on a Jeffrey video was drama. Jeffrey, blue raspberry was always my flavor choice growing up, blue mouth & all. 👍
Totally agree with you. I don't understand how people get so involved with folks they haven't ever met or know.
Next time he should take the blue mouth after photo
the first pendant with the scales is libra sign and the back is all the zodiac s
being from NYC, Italian Ice was sold everywhere.
Love it I used to work at the swap o Rama good memories to bad nobody goes their or opens there booth sad
The purple vase with the flowers when you were looking at the eiffel tower....I would have bought that
Pineapple Italian ice is really good 😊
OMG, what drama! I was in Paris, 1997 when Diana was killed. It was tragic but telling the content creator to edit or delete the video is nonsensical.
Great flea market. The frog cannisters have a fun labelling. Did you bought the ballerina music box? I love Italian ice cream. 🍦❣️
So informative,thanks for the lesson!
Howdy Jeffrey!! That scale medalian is a Libra zodiac medal!
Omg you sounded just like Martha Stewart.
I want that scale necklace. Libra is my sign.
People melt soda cans and pour into ant hills. Some of these castings can be huge. I think their pretty cool!
