Piranha at Efteling is still one of my favorites because the boats can overtake each other during the ride. Also Fata Morgana also in the Efteling is great. Every time ive been to Disney world ive always wanted to ride it but when I was younger I was to scared to ride it because of the huge drop ( granted I was 5 and I don't think i met the height requirement either) then every time we've gone it was either not working, under a refurb, had thunderstorms which they then shut down all the rides that have outdoor portions,or last time I went in November / December and it was 60 and cloudy I was freezing and the line was astronomical so I'll never get to ride it which I'm so sad about 😢 it looks like such a fun ride with those characters and story line I'm bummed out that they are changing it but oh well I hope the refurb makes it even better even though it won't be those characters or story anymore ❤

It would be hard for me to rank every single water ride I've been on, but I can tell you that my favorite is Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Some of my other favorites include Popeye & Bluto's Bildge-Rat Barges at Universal's Islands of Adventure, the two Splash Mountain rides at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland respectively, Grizzly River Run at Disney's California Adventure, Timber Mountain Log Ride at Knott's Berry Farm, Log Chute at Nickelodeon Universe inside Mall of America, Shipwreck Rapids at SeaWorld San Diego, Rio Loco at SeaWorld San Antonio, Gully Washer at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Bugs Bunny White Water Rapids at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Bigfoot Rapids at Knott's Berry Farm (haven't ridden it as Calico River Rapids yet), Escape from Pompeii at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Journey To Atlantis at SeaWorld Orlando and San Diego. And that's just a small fraction of the many water rides I've ridden.

Splash Mountain is basically a perfect ride (other than the historical issues that are the cause of the change.) I think Ripsaw's theming is perfect. It is a little on the more "traditional" side of things but so is Popeye's since it is all outdoor or covered scenes. Even though both are story driven, I feel like Ripsaw's narrative is important to really understand since there's significantly less water elements to keep guests entertained.
