I ordered a K&K Pure Mini pickup because I’m not a fan of the Fishman that comes installed. I’m hoping it will be an improvement. But otherwise, I love my Little Martin.
I know this was 3 months ago, but I've played a few of these models and the martin was definitely the best for me. It's like a laptop keyboard. Everything is so easy to press and close that it makes you noticeably faster. It's also a great guitar for composing because of its comfort.
Did you record this with or post it with compression cause I can hear it in there? Either way sounds fantastic! All acoustics can benefit from some compression.
Nathan F Whichever is available locally. Are both easily available to you? And is there a price difference? They’re the same guitar practically, it just comes down to tonewoods and minute differences that you’d only ever notice in side by side comparisons. Chances are you’re looking at this guitar for its portability. Keep it cheap and buy the base LX1

Seems to sound pretty good with a capo. I had a Fender acoustic that sounded terrible and weak with a capo. Seriously considering this one.

Elixír bronze 12 best for me
Acoustically, I use 11's for playing ease, but if you're picky, the recommended 12's produce a bit more volume. Elixirs.
