Thank you for doing your homework and using the spin kick for damage. Can do that for the first boss no matter where they pop up on easier difficulties. What I really wanted to say was thank you for not spamming slide OVER, and OVER again like every other video. i take it you found the pummel grab loop the best way to go about the game?
Fun fact: Before fighting each boss, you see their host's corpse cocooned in the
background. These hosts include a dolphin, a gorilla, humans, a bat, and a
snake. In the Queen's case, her egg sack is visible.

Well this game and the arcade (which is hundred times better) are made by Capcom, so yeah, there has to be a reference of Street Fighter there.

@AT Productions I assume it was based off of the comics at that time. The kenner line didn't make some of the alien figures just yet at the time. Or Activision just made their own alien design for this game.
Yeah, really. They don't require any more strategy than the regular aliens. One weakness of this game for sure, that and the fact that all the enemies just have SO much HP.....some of the regular aliens had as much as the bosses did.
I can't help but remember the AI being somewhat sadistic in this game when it came to the boss fights. If you couldn't manage a no-damage run in a boss fight, then the bosses would likely just keep hitting you and potentially stun-lock you into oblivion, especially the Queen Alien. Granted the flip side is basically beating the AI into the ground in such a way that makes it seem like the aliens themselves are a complete non-threat and you're left wondering how any area could get taken over by them in the first place. Also, it took a couple times playing before I caught on that picking up that tiny meat at full health gave a small increase to my maximum health bar.
The soundtrack seems pretty good
I can only think of the Robot Chicken sketch with the illegal alien boy crossing the border getting snatched by the priest
Dolphin alien = free willy but more xenomorph alien alike
The flying kick is the most deadly weapon amongst the incredible arsenal of the predator

I remember this game. I remember beating it in 1 rental on the hardest difficulty because the game was not balanced to counter Shoulder Cannon spamming. Disappointed I didn't hear that annoying sound once in this video. Instead got Predator Hurricane kicks.

I don’t know why but the boss music sounds funny and cool at the same time to me.
Just seven hours ago I randomly thought about this game and then thought it would be good for a Shadowserg no damage run. Amazing coincidence, because here it is! I rented this once or twice but never bought it.

I only ever got to the flying one. But I guess it was pretty good considering I was like 6 or 7 years old. I honestly forgot this game existed. The random things you find on RUclips lol.

Disappointing that you can't play as Predators, Xenomorphs and humans as you can in other Alien vs. Predator games. Especially with the humans. Would have been hilarious to see some random muscular guy beat the living crap out of two of the deadliest alien races ever conceived; as one does in a beat-'em up.

And a human playing character would definitely make it like the second movie revisited, so, Marines, Aliens or Predators ??
The Sarge has severely underestimated the Aliens in the second movie, only Hudson, Vasquez and Hicks survived the Aliens first attack, and the Aliens were only warming up before the real fun started....
It might have been different if they had sent out at least a full division instead of just one squad....
But, it's hard to believe that a little group of Predators could do an all out genocide on the Aliens on an entire planet in only a few days where a full squad of Marines was quickly wiped out in only one or two days by the same Aliens...
Says a lot about the Predators, they looked like top of the line experts in such situations...

I really like the music from the first four bosses. It sounds like the battle theme from a JRPG. ^^
I was using a different tactic to kill the Snake Alien, just keep away, and spam him with the Predator's laser gun, nothing the snake could do against it, but the Queen Alien had given me quite the headaches, the laser cannon is mostly useless against this, it's just too fast and it gave me always a trashing when it was too close to me, tried the spear while I could, but there's little it could do with that monster...
Makes me feeling like I suck, could take out anything in that game, but the final Queen Aliens is the only exception...
Anyone noticed the predator's jabs are the same as Final Fight's Cody's jabs...? 🤔
Hadn't thought about it, but yeah, it kindda looked like it, but, Cody didn't have a laser cannon on his shoulder, a big spear, a cloaking device and that kindda disk knife, as for Cody, he's in jail, Cody just can't compare with the Predator, especially with all the high tech toys the Predator has, best that Cody can do would be taking down the Mad Gears gang while the Predator can wipe out an entire species in a matter of days if you have around 8 Predators on the same planet...
The Aliens were a lot more dangerous than the Mad Gears...
Best to send 10 Lions than 1000 Sheeps ( Rambo III )

So dumb hahaha the final boss, the queen just appears and he immediately is like "AHHH!" and punches it in the face and stuns it. Like can you imagine haha.

you should try TMNT fall of the foot clan, Back to the sewers, and Radical Rescue on gameboy at some point.
Already did that a long time ago, but TMNT IV Turtles in Time on the SNES was a lot better in my opinion...
3rd Boss isn't Face Huggers but infant Xenomorphs after bursting out of a host. They haven't grown to full size.
