    Because stem cell therapy actually works, but here in the states it would not benefit our hospitals and drug company's if a procedure actually healed you and kept you from taking pills and seeing a doctor every 3 months!

      The industrial hosp/pharma complex

    • @foppsly
      @foppsly Год назад

      This is total cynical nonsense. Pharma industry is bad and corrupt but this is not why stem cells are less prevalent in the states (although they do exist in research hospitals). The reason is because there is no standardization of care, practice, indication for use, or even a strict definition for "stem cell therapy". Any clinic can claim they do "stem cell therapy" with completely different preparations and procedures than another clinic. This leads to overpromising and underdelivering often claiming that this service is a panacea for all illnesses/diseases/trauma to scam vulnerable desperate people. A majority of stem cell therapy outcomes are unverifiable anecdotes whereas the actual studies on them show mixed results at best. If it worked pharma companies would be all over patenting methods for effective uses and charging crazy rates for it.
      The idea that big pharma/hospitals are hiding cures is ridiculous because they don't "own" all of science or have the means to hide science especially when the biggest and best research institutions are non-profits like the Mayo Clinic. Hospitals make most of their money from procedure reimbursements not making you take "pills". No amount of "cures" like stem cells will prevent you from needing a surgeon and anesthesiologist team to save your life after a car accident or other traumatic wound/injury. ICU care is expensive, surgical procedures are expensive, diagnostic tests (blood reads, radiology reads, biopsies, pathology, derm, neurology, etc) are expensive, reconstructive procedures (burn units, wrecks, traumas, plastics etc) are expensive, etc. And guess what not every single pathology can just be "cured" by waving a magic wand solution and some things are more complicated then that who would've guessed maybe that's the reason doctors are licensed and not just some random guy in an alley way saying he has the magic cure for everything in a syringe. Add to that most people will not listen to a single thing their doctor says and refuse to diet, exercise, lose weight, quit smoking/drinking, etc and then still blame their doctor for making them sick.

    I have a coworker who had cancer until she went to Mexico for treatment, a very nice polish woman. She said it wasn't traditional treatment, no chemo or radiation therapy. Just strict dietary changes and herbal supplements. It has been over 20 years and she said she gets frequent physicals here in the US and it hasn't come back. It pisses her off that alternative treatments for cancer aren't being researched.

    • @ReginaMcNeish
      @ReginaMcNeish Год назад

      The real messed up thing about it is in the underground cancer is known as an overgrowth of parasites (that’s why the herbs and diet works so quick and easily when consistent cuz your killing the life of the parasites and you can’t play with them cuz they will get you first if you aren’t purposeful) but if you mention this to people they get aggressively angry. EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE PROOF and personally know people who have done it as well. They just do what it takes to keep the people fooled and you can not convince them of the truth. Wait to the truth comes out about pregnancy and how IVF is a money maker just cuz they can. Women have been trained to not know their bodies.

    President George W Bush signed an executive order banning the use of federal funding for any stem cell lines other than those already in existence, stating at the time, "My position on these issues is shaped by deeply held beliefs," and "I also believe human life is a sacred gift from our creator."[5] This ban was in part revoked by his successor Barack Obama, who stated: "As a person of faith, I believe we are called to care for each other and work to ease human suffering. I believe we have been given the capacity and will to pursue this research and the humanity and conscience to do so responsibly."[

Just like Ronnie Coleman waits until your legs suffer 3rd degree burns and blistering daily. I’m 27 years in. There are so many long term issues with back injuries that I simply can’t shout loud enough about. Surgeons have a moto. “If you don’t carve, you starve”. I was told that by a surgeon. "Stem cell" infusions are very popular now.. but most often use "recumbent/anogolous cells"
    meaning they "spin" your own blood and use the "stem cells" from the plasma. These are not TRUE stem cells that can "turn" into any cells..for example he was saying that it's not like they can "produce new bone", but true stem cells CAN! They can become ANY type of cell, including nerve cells to help with (or in some cases even reverse paralysis)
    Most people think of "embryonic" stem cells and this being from "dead babies" why much of the research was stopped and even banned.
    However, stem cells can be "harvested" from a newborns umbilical cord with ANY harm to the baby or mother and sadly this "life blood" is typically tossed in medical waste. There are a few companies that offer storage for later use (of which the baby will be a 100% match, full siblings and parents have around a good chance of being able to use as well (don't recall the exact % as it's been awhile since my research).
    "Banking" your babies cells is a harmless and fairly inexpensive "insurance" (initial collection, transport and then cryo storage was about $1500.. then annual storage of around $150.. but that was 20 yrs ago) My dtrs cells are still "stored" and there have been cases where it's been used up to (I believe) 18 years later.
    The very unfortunate thing is I truly believe more research has not been done and advances made because it would not benifit big pharma and big medicine in general to actually be able to HEAL people. Stem cells have been steeped in controversy for a very long time when it may well be an actual answer for sooo many people!!!
    Like soo many things...our health is a mere commodity and the "powers that be" benifit from our current "sick care" system and have little incentive to invest in solutions as opposed to creating a pill that you will need to take making you a life long consumer.

    • @The_Ballo
      @The_Ballo Год назад

      Actually, that harvesting does harm the baby. The umbilical cord pumps those cells into the baby (unless it's clamped) to help with the trauma if childbirth.

    • @misdaniellern77
      @misdaniellern77 Год назад

      @deadballo There is no chance whatsoever of harm coming to the baby. The process is, of course, not done until after the cord is clamped and the placenta delivered. These precious life giving/changing cells are most often disposed of as medical waste after ensuring the delivered placenta is complete. The only thing harvesting these cells may do for the baby is save his or her life in the event of needing treatment for cancer for example. [and No, the cells don't cure the disease in these cases, they rebuild and allow the patient to survive after the toxic treatment needed to avoid the cancer from killing them.
      It's honestly shocking to me that more people don't bank umbilical cells. Thank you for your reply as misconceptions like the one you presented are unfortunate, and I appreciate the opportunity to offer education.
