In the summer, my favorite time to use spinnerbaits is at night. I generally throw a 1/2 ounce black spinnerbait with blue blades and a #11 Uncle Josh pork frog. Slow rolling the bait after dark works best for me.
Using a 1/2 to 3/4 double Colorado depending on wind over a weed flat has been productive. I go with chartuse skirt and blades when it's cloudy ,gold blades in the sun.waking it back
