He is 1 of my favorite actors. Besides being a great actor his laugh on screen was something else.

A memorable character actor with the right kind of voice for his roles. Interesting how he and Widmark played so well against type. Thanks for sharing!

In the late '50s his performance on The Twilight Zone as an alcoholic ex-gunfighter given another chance by "Fate" showed just how sympathetic a character he could portray. A memorable episode in a series of memorable episodes... YP

Nice showing on Dan Duryea, a favorite actor of mine, though I agree with the comments on saying his name. You show very well his acting history, some new to me. Ride Clear of Diablo, a favorite, has him as a likeable villain with character depth helping good guy Audie Murphy, along with portraying a light-hearted view of right & wrong. If you redub this video, saying his name correctly, and not asking forgiveness for name mispronouncing, you would have a superb presentation.

Nice piece, although you should have done your homework on the pronunciation of his last name. DUR-eeyay. Kinda sorta lowers your credibility a bit.

Dan 'Dure- yeah' ...You would be well served sir to research the pronunciation of the names of the actors that you present...Not meaning to be critical of you...Had the part of Jimmy Doyle in Humphrey Bogart's film 'Sahara', 1943...A very talented actor...
