On tej postaci nie odgrywa tylko tą postacią w tej chwili jest. To niesamowity talent tak utożsamić się z postacią i nie potrzebuje do tego specjalnego kostiumu. Jego głos jest tak mocny, tak piękny, że dreszcze i łzy to rzecz normalna. ❤❤❤

This handsome beauteous baritone's demise will forevermore be horribly haunting. His lifetime of performances and English documentaries will remain for everyone. We are eternally 🙏 thankful by the glory of g_d's good graces. As this is being written, it is totally impossible not to shed wild tears. It is sad that only the good die young. The true question is: why? It is through his magnificence and frequent performances that the writer has, as a senior citizen, become appreciative of opera in its totality. His innate and devotion to his craft are beyond words 🗺 in any language. He is the penultimate perfect performer and person. It was not within a lot of individuals' realms to see him live, yet it is so.

I like his voice and he was a musical singer, but I don't think his voice compares to the best baritones I've heard. I would rate Milnes, Merrill, Tibbett and Bastianini higher for a start

I found out about Dima's death just three days ago and I'm still shocked with grief (I've been out of order for several months). I don't care about what anybody (the so called experts on music and/or on opera) may say about his technique, or the way he used to put the tip of his tongue, or about the expressions of his face. I have studied musical theory, piano, acoustics and harmony, as well as singing for several years. Still, I don't think of myself as an expert on music at all. But I enjoy good music and specially good singing (opera, above all) and, no matter what others' tastes can be, I can tell when I like a voice. And that of Dmitri Hvorostovsky's is one of the best I've ever listened to. In Italian, in Russian, in French or in any other languages he may have sung. He was always sublime. As a singer, as a performer, as an actor and, what's perhaps most important, as a person. Thanks to nowadays technology, with the Intenet, RUclips and all the other devices which allow us to keep enjoying living and dead voices and performances. Thanks to frufruJ, too, for uploading such beautiful bits (since the very beginning of his career) of one of the greatest baritones the world has ever known. As somebody has already pointed out in one of the comments, stop caring so much about the technique or the lack of it, and allow yorselves more to enjoy the sheer bliss of Hvorostovsky's art.
