Their Surplus isn't what's impressive, it's your knowledge and ability to identify everything and what it's used as, that's impressive to me. Followed you for about 6 years now. Hope you're feeling 100%. Love you brother, keep chuggin'!!
I can remember buying pants for $3 at the surplus store in Colorado Springs. Had two pairs of them in my backpack and one pair that i wore when i lived out of my backpack for a few months. It was fun doing laundry every three days.
First, glad to see you feeling up to making a visit. Second, you can bet the phone there got busy minutes after you posted this video. I took another USPS delivery from Kaufman's today, quality gear, good prices, reliable service and fast shipping. Beats any store around here.
Wow, Blackie. Those are some very good prices. I can't find anything at a Surplus Store where I live for those prices. Thanks for Sharing and Stay Safe.
The south seems to be where all the surplus ended up. I live in the north east and there used to be a few but all of them are gone now. Shame. Thanks for sharing!
So glad to see you out and about at the surplus store. man I'd love to have a good surplus store close by. Koffmans is looking good these days and so are you my friend. It's probably good there aren't any surplus stores like that around here cause I'd spend way too much time and money there. I do wish they had a catalog though. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Take care of yourself and God bless.
Blackie, these video walk-throughs are some of my favourite videos. I noticed this time that it appears that the store seems to be more tidier than usual. Still jealous that you have such a fine store near you.
Nice tour. Those heavy tow straps or tie downs can be turned into a nice machete sheath. One guy seals the cracks around his shop doors for winter with them.
We went to PCB a couple of years ago and stopped there on the way home to TN. A very fun surplus store experience, and a nice ride back through the south AL countryside. If we ever go back to the panhandle, we will definitely stop back by there again.
Don't dry polypropylene longjohns in a dryer. Probably why they only last a couple of years. Hang dry instead. Dryer heat messes up the delicate fobers.
That shop is awesome...id be bankrupt if i ever got there...i still have a lot of my SADF gear...good stuff..tough as hell...especially the trousers whick im still wearing from time to time...40 years later...my wife is taking me to the overcoat shop next week to buy myself a christmas pressy....they got a huge selection of various military coats and jackets...ive alteady got a good collection...bit one more really cool one will do no harm..
Looks like I am going to have to go back and find the video where you put the phone number. I need a to pick up an E-tool, military poncho (everyone I find is a replica made in China, exactly what I don't want.), some clothing. Although I am not sure if it should be poly or waffle or what. Still trying to learn. Thanks for the video, keep on going. I love all videos Blackie Thomas does. Glad to see you are recovering. Take care of yourself.
Much of the military surplus, even the arctic gear, may end up in the South because its milder winters make the region better suited for training bases. (No sane person wants to go through basic training in a Maine winter.) As a result, the gear ends up there and is sold locally.
Looks a lot like a surplus store we used to have here. Not all of it military, but the didn't have cool US kit, just too worn out junk Canadian kit that was hardly serviceable. Also besides a few racks, everything was in old military boxes showing just how the store undervalued both what they has and their customers.
The prices are way better where you live. There is one surplus store near me and the prices suck worse than the quality they carry. It’s a pretty lame ass store honestly. And it’s a mess.
Its a good thing that shop is several thousand miles away from me. I know exactly what that place smells like. Some serious sins could be perpetrated there...

Blackie, thanks for the short tour.. you just keep getting better.
Appreciate it
Got to love a good military surplus store. You can find something cool to buy nearly every time you visit one.
Happy to see that you're looking very well, Blackie!

Great stuff, Blackie. Always enjoy going to the surplus store. 👍
Blackie, it's good to hear you sounding so much better. Hang in there, my friend.
I always enjoy whenever Blackie or Bear takes us to the surplus store
thanks for watching
Bless you Blackie and so very glad you are recovering so well. That looks like a very nice and a well stocked Surplus Store. Take care ...
Thanks so much
Always fun. Appreciate

Ty Blackie, Great to see what the surplus stove has today
I could spend a month and a lot of money rummaging through that store. Thanks for the tour Blackie
Brings back fond surplus store rummaging memories, I can smell that store from the uk.
Nice to have such a great store close by. Here in Malta, there isn't any. Just an online great store way up in Helsinki, Finland.
Thanks for the video, Blackie! Some of the camo looks like German flecktarn.

Man, that is a cool Surplus Store.
I would love to see you do a "Bushcraft" Hardware store walkthrough.... what good and useful stuff you pick up
Hi Blackie! Every time you show off Kaufman's I am tempted to drive a thousand miles to check it out! Be well, friend.
The south seems to be where all the surplus ended up. I live in the north east and there used to be a few but all of them are gone now. Shame. Thanks for sharing!
You sure have some nice stores there…up in Michigan they all about closed down. Have fun stay safe.
Yeah it is hard to find surplus stores anymore
So glad to see you out and about at the surplus store. man I'd love to have a good surplus store close by. Koffmans is looking good these days and so are you my friend. I love that store, and I wish I could go there. Great video, Blackie!
Hi Blackie good luck hunting.
Blackie, these video walk-throughs are some of my favourite videos. I noticed this time that it appears that the store seems to be more tidier than usual. Still jealous that you have such a fine store near you.
Yeah it's been tidied up a bit lately they do a good job in there
I love them stories. I wish we had more of them.
give the ladies a call they may have something your looking for and best of all they will ship 334 -898-1770
I can literally smell this video....something so distinctive about mil-surp items in a warehouse
Nice tour. Those heavy tow straps or tie downs can be turned into a nice machete sheath. One guy seals the cracks around his shop doors for winter with them.
I’ve seen those straps used for a bunch of different things.
Good luck on your hunt be safe.
Hey Blackie I just got signed up for the hunter safety class where I live!!
That place is so awesome! I would truly enjoy spending some time in there. Good luck on the hunt brother. Stay warm out there!
Good video, take care and stay safe and warm
On point, as always Blackie! Been looking for that SADF Grootsak for awhile now, just picked up their reproduction. Thanks Blackie!
Wish we had a surplus stor like that around here
Dang,, I wish I lived closer to there!!
Looking forward to the pouch video. I am a bit of a pouch junkie.
Love the surplus!
Ain't no such thing as a quick trip through a surplus store for me. Lookin' Good Blackie.
I could spend hours there cool place
Cool 😎
That place is great, wish it was close to me. Great video Blackie.
Wow!
I could spend a wheelbarrow full pile of cash there. N.p.
You're in my prayers brother..
So glad you’re doing good👊
We had a surplus store that was in business for MANY years, but finally closed the doors maybe 15 year ago. No other ones around.
Blackie; i could've missed it. But... please advise this army/navy store and town please. Want to make it a road travel stop next time through.

Places like this are sanctuaries for us surplus goblins

Thank you Blackie for the walk through.
glad to do it
Cool store Blackie

Thank you for the walk thru!
That’s an Awesome surplus store. The drive is a bit long, 21 hours if I don’t stop anywhere 😂. Maybe someday.
Tell him gorgeous, looking, ladies down there.I'll be ordering some t shirts from them
will do

Hope you are feeling better.
I need to go there onw day, or maybe not. I can't afford going there...but they got a lot of stuff.
lol yea i suffer from the same problem
my only draw back on visiting my local store is the hour drive each way.
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
👍
I been meaning to go to my local store. I haven't been there in years. Will you do some more talks on your BP revolvers?
That shop is awesome...id be bankrupt if i ever got there...i still have a lot of my SADF gear...good stuff..tough as hell...especially the trousers whick im still wearing from time to time...40 years later...my wife is taking me to the overcoat shop next week to buy myself a christmas pressy....they got a huge selection of various military coats and jackets...ive alteady got a good collection...bit one more really cool one will do no harm..
Looking good Blackie. Glad you are up and about! ATB - Stan
Glad to see your feeling better . Do they have a web site?
Looks like an adult in person version of the sears catalog... LMAO
lol pretty close
@BLACKIETHOMAS I figured you'd get a kick out of that reference lol
Looks like I am going to have to go back and find the video where you put the phone number. Blackie did you happen to remember how much those "big bags" were? I know they're USMC dry bags lol.
i think it was 15 bucks something like that
@BLACKIETHOMAS nice, thats a good price. I'll have to give them a call, glad to see you're doing better. I knew you would 👍💪.
Belongs to your veterans.
😊
Nothing like that surplus store smell! 😅
I wish they had a store here in Savannah GA but they are on eBay which is better cause I would need a pickup truck if they had a store here
its an awesome place
A bentwood rocker at 7:15. They aren't made anymore or I just can't find it. If you need to rock the grandchildren, this the one.
Only thing wrong with this is I am not there lol😅
Not all surplus stores are created equal. That one there I could go broke in.
😀👍
Stores like that have all but vanished here in New York
Looks a lot like a surplus store we used to have here. Not all of it military, but the didn't have cool US kit, just too worn out junk Canadian kit that was hardly serviceable. Also besides a few racks, everything was in old military boxes showing just how the store undervalued both what they has and their customers.
Thanks for the video. Please give address of store.
Any L L-Handle canteen cups
yes i think so call them 334-898-1770
No surplus store within an hour of me anymore
Pure wool blankets I am looking for how much $$$$$
Hmmm.....where's this store?
Where in Alabama is this?
Where is this store located?
Do they have any radio bags left????.....I called twice and don't get an answer
Where is this store?
I could spend a day and a paycheck there too bad I live in Oklahoma.
and having to dig is half the fun looking thru the big piles
@ Yes it is.
What is the name of the surplus store.
My girlfriend wouldn't be able to get me out of there

oh man it just screams old army smell lol
You should ask your good friend
_Dave C_ why he screwed over HIS friend, the surplus store owner, at the prepper expo in McArthur, Ohio.
