After reading the comments section I think it's agreed that Hamilton Boys should come to the World School Fest in 2021, if it is still going to be held.
They are in this years 2022 world school festival. This is going to be the first time Hamilton boys and Grey College clash if I'm not mistaken. I'm rooting for them but I doubt Hamilton boys would win but they will put up a good game against Grey for sure
Would have liked to see Grey against RKS last year, lots of big and fast running Fijian boys, but yeah Grey against Hamilton and Sedbergh(UK) will be classic match-ups!
I think Grey would still win it against RKS, but RKS won’t go down without a good fight (no cricket scores like our kiwi comrades👀😉😂😂).I hope we will have the WSF this year. Really disappointed about it got cancelled last year

@@toiletsmithy3630 not even remotely accurate! 50-0? Paarl Boys have never in their near 160 year history lost a game even close to 50-0. Where did you get this bit of fake news?
Howzit Mike, they would def give them a good game. No SA teams were in our top 20 obviously because of a very short season. Also you must remember in NZ they don’t have as much footage available as they do in SA so hard to compare based on footage alone
What makes u say they are the best rugby school though, I mean have they faced other top schools from different countries, but they would make a great match up against grey college
Because 2014 Sanix World Youth Tournament Final Paarl Boys 11 Hamilton Boys 15 2022 World Schools Festival Final Grey College 10 Hamilton Boys 22 😘 that’s why they are the best because they are sa schools DADDY! no sa school has defeated them
SA need to realise when we (nz) take teams over to internationals and that, they actually dont take some of the crucial players because year 13s are on leave and they bring in youngster which is reasonable to prime them up for next year to come. If internationals was held in New Zealand oh game over
Having grown up in SA, coached in the UK and now working in rugby in NZ I'd like to offer my 2cents: 1. HBHS are a great rugby school and they take huge pride in their program. They don't however, have a tendency to produce many All Blacks. So take that however you wish. Their last AB's being Sevu Reece (who only did 1 yr at the school) and Tawera Kerr-Barlow. Even by NZ standards, the ability to produce AB's is important. 2. There are a cluster of British rugby schools that shouldn't be smirked at. The likes of Millfield, Sedbergh, Brighton, Whitgift, Wellington etc all have had strong sides in recent years and align well with their academy systems over there. 3. I have never seen a rugby school as impressive as Grey College (to date). And having played against the likes of Grey, Waterkloof, Affies and Glenwood (as a student) I've never hurt as much after coming off the pitch as I have in those games. Likewise the schools such as St Kent's, Kings and Auckland Grammar in Auckland were also incredibly tough to play against, but not quite as physical as the SA teams. As I said, this is just one man's opinion. A world schools festival in a neutral venue (I'm thinking Dubai) would really solve this once and for all. But that won't be happening in the next few years at least.
Thanks for this, incredibly insightful and tough to disagree with many of your points. Grey were our number 1 in 2018 and 2019, one must remember that in 2020 they only played 2 or 3 games so in fairness could not rank them. But overall I agree, if one looks at a program holistically from 1st XV to under 14F then no school even comes close to Grey, not saying their 1st team can never be beaten but i don’t think a school exists that could come out on top over a full day involving all teams for example
Please keep your opinions to yourself. Hamilton Boys High are once again 2022 Secondary schools world champions. HBHS were to physical and fast for Grey's college.

Grey won’t make the same mistake again. Anyway, Paarl Gim was the actual SA champs this year, and not even Grey.
