- When Mr. Bear and I were looking at remodeling our kitchen we took a walk through Ikea and found this great carousel for a base cabinet. We scoured RUclips for videos on how it was built. Nothing popped up. So here is "how we did it". Please tell me what you think! Thank you for watching!
Everything your wife commented on, i did too! Including why the shelf was rubbing against the side of the cabinet. I've watched 5 other videos from other people and you just jamming it harder has solved my issue. Thanks!

Thank you so much. I bought a house and the pull outs were not installed properly. The seller would not help, but with your video I was able to fix it myself in 5 minutes. The stoppers were installed on the wrong side. Your video was awesome.

Thank you for all of the close up details of the cabinet. Due to the pandemic, this corner cabinet has been out of stock for over a year. Since it's in the corner, my entire kitchen layout is waiting on it. This corner cabinet takes a 21" door - I believe I can put together a regular 21" and 24" cabinet and do some cutting to clear the shelves.

I am so glad I watched this before going out to buy this. I figured I can't actually install this in my kitchen because I don't have those holes behind the cabinet door, to support the top of the pole! I figure this requires the cabinet housing to be from Ikea as well.
Nope, if you're an able diy'er it's an easy alteration.

Question...I have a non ikea cabinet that measures out the same. Do you think this will work for me? Or do I need that strip that the upright bar screws into?

This video is a huge help, as the IKEA instructions leave alot to be desired, especially if you're going to attempt it in a non-IKEA installation! Can you tell me how wide the door needs to be for this to work? We'd like to install this in a non-IKEA RTA blind base cabinet, but we'd like to get the smallest width door that it will work in before we order the cabinet. Thanks!
600mm wide door unless they have made a 500mm one wide one since then.

Hi! I just installed two of these in our kitchen and we are stumped on how to install the door damper...on the bottom hinge, the damper is too big to fit. It looks like yours is soft close, how did you get it like that?

We have our soft close dampener on the upper hinge. There wasn't a way for us to fit it on the lower hinge. With the soft close on the upper hinge it doesn't change the effectiveness of what it does but you're right, you can't fit it on the bottom. I hope this is something that helps you 😁👍
@@howwedidit8360 thank you! That is what I currently have...except the door still shuts hard and makes a noise....I'll have to mess around with the placement of the door I think. Thank you for confirming that it's possible for it to shut nice with just one though!
