@@lewiswalsh369 did I read that right, so you would start 7:30pm on a Friday and leave Sunday at 4:00pm? Would there be a place for sleeping or would they let you go home and come back in the morning?
ALLTALK INDIE MOVIES Im infantry so we sleep out in the woods not to sure about the other units and it’s a training weekend so your be in a army barracks or sleeping in the woods
@@lewiswalsh369 Can I also ask if the drill nights still get the same daily amounts as the weekends? So is it per hour paid, or just as long as it takes place on that day regardless of how long. @@lewiswalsh369 out of curiosity, when your deciding what weekends your going to or drill night you want to do, do you literally just show up? Or do you have to give them notice of you showing up in advance? Sorry if you've already answered this somewhere else.
Looking into this. Worried as I work shifts so rarely get a full weekend off and would only be able to do every other drill night. Will it be a struggle to fulfill the 28 days?
Jack Edmunds ok once you have done your selection course you will then get your kit about a week or two weeks after that I’m going to be doing a video on it in the next couple of days of what you get to take home
Lewis Walsh Fitness - Love the channel, mate. Please keep it up. I've just passed the initial selection for 4 PARA (AC not P Company) and am about to attend my first drill night. I know the answer to my question will probably vary from unit to unit, night to night, but would you be able to give me a ballpark figure on how long a drill night lasts for (need to know if I can catch to the last train or if I should crash at a mate near by)?
Thank you mate I’m actually making a few videos as we speak but one is about a fitness as I’m doing an Ironman 4 weeks today. Yeah they’re about 2 1/2 hours long so you get there for 7:30 finish around 10 o’clock
Hello mate I was in the Army before in the regulars I got to week 7 in training and I DAOR for personal reasons but I want to join the infantry reserves and I was just wondering how long the training would be and if it's split up thank you 👌🏻👍🏻
I think the training is around 6 weeks now mate and yes it’s split up in three individual parts I think it’s one week course two weeks course and three weeks course
@@lewiswalsh369 thank you lew, also another thing is I have a beard and do they give any other options such as clean shaven as I have sensitive skin on the face when clean shaven so try to avoid will that be a massive problem for me? With my joining process

Im 20 and i want to join Reserves while at college. When u get ur kit do u just take it all home? I recently left the regulars. Also do i keep my service number from regulars too?
I have had depression in the past and went to therapy n stuff for it in the past. They'll just ask you about it in your medical assessment at AC if it's on your medical record. Yeah I know a bit about it so 21 and 23 basically do a mostly of recce patrol missions and assist the 22 sas but if you have special talent like speaking different languages and IT skills the 22 will snap you up and you will be working for them The training is done 2 stages the first one is a six month heel training and the second stage is done in six months weapons and get the basic skills to the best
Cj Brown so what I’ve been told is they gather information for the 22 and if they need to take it further they were going but I guess 21 23 get to have a fight but I think it’s Mainly information gathering
Thanks for watching I would really appreciate it if you could hit that thumbs up button and subscribe it would really help the channel grow
