These are some pretty good picks! I’d say Kakashi was my least favorite of this because the choices were mostly in part of spiky white hair plus a little something about him but I respect the opinions! I would say Snubble over Furfrou though because of Pakun resembling the bull dog like Snubble. I’ve also been working on my own version of this so this was very helpful in terms of seeing others opinions.
Yeah I definitely honed in on the hair for Kakashi so fair point. I should have thrown in something like Gallade due to the loyalty of the Gallade/Gardevoir lines in conjunction with Kakashi’s care for his comrades. I’m looking forward to watching your stuff!
Naruto really should nix the 2nd Fox and bring in a "waifu" pokemon, like Gardevoir or a Lopunny because he doesn't need 2 foxes when 9 Tails already does that role perfect and his signature move. Sasuke is solid enough I know she's mostly useless most of the time, but at least give Sakura a Wigglytuff... Speaking of Smeargle in my other post, that's *much* better choice than Ditto, because Smeargle's entire gimmick is that it steals moves
Would’ve picked a Flying-type for Naruto, given his Wind Release Nature. I’d go with Salamance to reflect Naruto’s dream to become Hokage reflecting in the Bagon and Shelgon’s dream to fly. I’d remove the backup of Jinx/Nidoqueen. Love the Lucario pick, though. Also, a Great Tusk with a Head Smash/Supercell Slam, alongside Megahorn/Iron Head, Earthquake, and Close Combat/Body Press could almost wipe out all four of their teams, save for Naruto’s Seismitoad. I know this was made before Gen 9’s release but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Man I hate to say it but you really failed this video for me by not picking poliwrath for Naruto. The spiral on his stomach is the Uzumaki symbol. Venusaur should’ve been poliwrath 🌀
I think Naruto's perfect pokemon team is... Greninja: it'd be his only starter if he had one though I see why Venusaur and Delphox make sense but I just believe Greninja makes more sense, it's a frog ninja that uses shuriken and kunai like attacks and can learn double team which is like shadow clones, also I don't know if Naruto would have access too it but Ash Greninja has a bigger and more powerful shuriken it throws which Naruto also does. Ninetales: you have to have Ninetales on any Naruto Uzumaki team, it's similar too Kurama and can breathe fire which Kurama does do in anime only scenes I believe, plus its fire type can also resemble the will of fire philosophy Naruto has as well as his home, the land of fire Konohagakure, also he would bond with it given his natural bond with Kurama. Lucario: Lucario is a canine/dog like pokemon I think Naruto could get along with a lot kinda like Ninetales but it also would be a perfect training partner for him and his other pokemon, it's a fighting type along with the fact that Lucario are loyal guardians who will protect their trainers, kinda like how Naruto is extremely loyal to his friends and loved ones and will protect them if he can, Lucario's regular and mega shiny form also resemble Naruto's kcm forms a bit with its yellow and black stripes color scheme and his mega form's cape can also resemble Naruto's sage cape, I also think he would have a mega if he can just as a token of both its and Naruto's strength, power, and appearance, and finally Lucario's signature move is aura sphere which is incredibly similar too one of Naruto's main jutsu, the Rasengan which are both just contained masses of energy in a sphere like shape. Ninjask: I know a lot of Naruto teams put Greninja and Ninjask just because they're ninja-like but they do make sense outside of just being ninja, Ninjask is a flying type with flying type moves which are reminiscent of Naruto's chakra nature affinity wind, which means both of them can use air/wind type moves, Ninjask learns double team which like Greninja is similar too one of Naruto's main abilities, the multi-shadow clone jutsu, and Ninjask's color scheme is closely related too Naruto's as well in both regular and shiny form. Politoad: now this was difficult because there are a few good toad pokemon for Naruto to have, shiny Seismitoad, Poliwrath, Crogunk etc, but I didn't want to add too many toad pokemon on Naruto's team since while he does have a connection with them, these other pokemon I feel make more sense too his character and abilities (plus he's only ever been capable of summoning 2), Politoad I believe is better than Poliwrath and Poliwhirl more so because it better fits his character and toads he knows rather than just fighting abilities, Politoad is like Gamatatsu in that the personalities are more than less similar, and is a pure water type and can use water moves like how Gamatatsu uses water jutsu, but also because while not as prevalent as Poliwhirl's and Poliwrath's swirl, Politoad still has a swirl on its belly like Naruto which can resemble Naruto's clan insignia, which is the swirl of the Uzumaki clan and symbol of Uzushiogakura the village hidden in whirlpool's where the clan originates from, I honestly think it wouldn't be a problem if you swapped out Politoad with Poliwhirl or Poliwrath for the same reasoning but it's just my personal pick. Zeraora: now my reason for why I picked Zeraora is more so due to how it's related too Naruto's abilities and looks but also a little like Naruto in a way where it likes to fight and is most of the time ready for a fight and energetic if anything which Naruto kinda is, I also wanted him to have a really powerful pokemon as his last member since it felt kinda necessary sense at the end of Naruto the main character pretty much becomes the strongest ninja in the whole world so it's more of a testament to his power of anything, first off Zeraora's color scheme resembles Naruto's kcm forms and his speed gained by them too match because it puts Zeraora either as fast as or faster than lightning, its got whisker's like Naruto does, and would be another perfect training partner for Naruto's other team members since it can always encourage his other pokemon to get stronger like Naruto had too through training, since Zeraora is just that much stronger than any pokemon on his team. So that's Greninja- Water/Dark (starter, abilities, frog/ninja) Battle Bond Ninetales- Fire (Kurama, character, will of fire, land of fire) Lucario- Fighting/Steel (character, abilities, fighting type, shiny color scheme) Mega Ninjask- Bug/Flying (abilities, color scheme, flying type) Politoad- Water (character, toad summoning, Uzumaki swirl) Zeraora- Electric (mythical, power, speed, color scheme)
I really liked this video, and would like to see you do videos assigning pokemon teams to all the other teams. I'd definitely watch all of them, and am leaving some suggestions for the other teams below, should you choose to do them: 1-Ino-Shika-Cho, starting with Shikamaru: about him, the most notable characteristics are that he's lazy, kinda unmotivated, shadow powers, incredibly smart, good leader who cares a lot about his loved ones, likes cloud watching. If I had to give him a team, I'd start with Alakazam. I mean Maru has +200 IQ, Zam is supposedly the smartest mon based on his pokedex entries. I think it fits. Gengar or Haunter would be a good fit to represent his shadow abilities. I also thought of Marshadow, but I'm trying to evade mythicals/legendaries. A weird choice would be Altaria, because of how much it looks like a cloud. And listen, Shika wouldn't admit it but he'd like Altaria, it's literally a fluffy pillow. I think either Oranguru or Slowking would also be good choices, because "intelligence". And to represent his laziness perhaps Snorlax or Slaking? But tbf, I think both these mon fit his teammate Chouji Akimichi a lot more than they fit him. Prolly would have Sawsbuck because of the deer forest his clan owns, and perhaps Komala? He'd like the lil dude. 2-Ino: if I had to give her a team I'd go with Milotic. Prettiest pokemon. Prettiest Konoha girl. Besides, she's driven and hot-headed enough to not only catch a Feebas, but take care of it and evolve it into Milotic. Espeon. I don't think there's any pokemon that perfectly matches her ability to mind transfer, so I decided to give her a psychic type I think she'd love. Roserade. Because of the flower shop her family owns. Last I can think of for her is Tsarena, because they exude very similar "girlboss" energy. Definitely would have Florgess and Spoink because of her nickname "Ino-pig". 3-Chouji Akimichi: Snorlax ofc. No questions needed bout that one. Butterfree and Vivillon, because of his whole butterfly thing he does. I'm giving him Bellibolt only because they lowkey look similar. And perhaps an Alcremie or an Appletun, cause they're literally cakes, and you know he'd like them. 4-Team 8 starting with Shino: we know he'd have all bugs. If I had to choose, I'd give him Orbeetle, Durant, Dustox (cause I think his kikaichu are venomous), Vespiquenn (cause he'd be persistent enough to get one), and Shedinja (if only to represent his habit of being forgotten). 5-Kiba Inuzuka: a team of all dogs. You can choose any 6 dog mon you want and they'd probably fit him. Stoutland, Mabosstif, Houndoom, Mightyena, etc. You name it. 6-Hinata Hyuga: I feel like she’d have a team of "delicate pretty-looking feminine" mon. Gardevoir (tell me she wouldn't have a Gardevoir), Lilligant, Primarina (though Primarina fits Ino almost as much as it does Hinata), perhaps she’d have a Flabebe or an Espurr, though I feel like their evolutions (Florgess and female Meowstic) fit Ino a lot more than Hinata. Perhaps a Sylveon or a Togekiss. 7-Team Gai starting with Neji: Gallade (to compliment Hinata's Gardevoir), Ik you gave Lucario to Naruto but I feel like it fits Neji just as much. Staraptor perhaps? It's an imposing bird, and Neji does have the whole "caged bird" motif going on. I'm trying to think of mon that are both elegant and powerful for Neji, but I can't think of many. Probably would have a Ceruledge. Idk. 8-Rock-Lee: all the fighting types. Defo would have a Breloom, I mean just look at them. Shiny Hitmonlee, because of the green color. Darmanitan, because of the insane power and wide smile. Now that I think about it, give him the OP dolfin mon from gen 9: Palafin hero form. Definitely a Sirfetch'd. 10-Ten-Ten: she’d be a big fan of object mon, so I'm giving her Aegislash, Ik it sounds broken but Kartana. Perhaps a Klinklang, cause they're kinda shaped like shuriken? Mienshao fits her a lot too in my opinion. If I had to give her smth else, perhaps Gothitelle, as surprising as it may sound. I think, it's mentioned about Ten-Ten, that she likes tarot cards, and the whole "guessing your future" stuff, so Gothitelle represents that weird hobby of hers, perfectly. 11-The sand siblings starting with Gaara: lots of ground types, because of the sand. Excadrill. Sandslash I think is the closest thing we have to Shukaku, Garchomp, Krookodile (to represent his past evil side). You name it. If it's ground type and it's strong it fits into Gaara's team. 12-Kankuro: obviously Banette, because puppets. Drapion, because he inherits the scorpion/Sasori puppet (and I like to think that Sasori would have a shiny Drapion cause they're red, and Kankuro a regular one cause they're purple). Cofagrigus, to represent his iron maiden move. His most popular puppet is the Crow, so as funny as it may sound perhaps Honchkrow would fit? I want to give him a nother poison type, so either Toxtricity or Skuntank. Temari: she’d have a Weavile cause it's based on the same thing as her summoning. Perhaps also Hisuian Braviary, idk why. Perhaps Corviknight and/or Skarmory because they're steel types (thus representing her fan) and birds, and she'd have mainly bird pokemon. Pd: I'd also give Sakura Tinkaton, and I forgot to give Shino a Scolipede. I think it really fits him.

I think, it's mentioned about Ten-Ten, that she likes tarot cards, and the whole "guessing your future" stuff, so Gothitelle represents that weird hobby of hers, perfectly.
11-The sand siblings starting with Gaara: lots of ground types, because of the sand. Excadrill. Sandslash I think is the closest thing we have to Shukaku, Garchomp, Krookodile (to represent his past evil side). You name it. If it's ground type and it's strong it fits into Gaara's team.
12-Kankuro: obviously Banette, because puppets. Drapion, because he inherits the scorpion/Sasori puppet (and I like to think that Sasori would have a shiny Drapion cause they're red, and Kankuro a regular one cause they're purple). Cofagrigus, to represent his iron maiden move. His most popular puppet is the Crow, so as funny as it may sound perhaps Honchkrow would fit? I want to give him a nother poison type, so either Toxtricity or Skuntank.
Temari: she’d have a Weavile cause it's based on the same thing as her summoning. Perhaps also Hisuian Braviary, idk why. Perhaps Corviknight and/or Skarmory because they're steel types (thus representing her fan) and birds, and she'd have mainly bird pokemon.
Pd: I'd also give Sakura Tinkaton, and I forgot to give Shino a Scolipede. I think it really fits him.
