  • Join me as I hike up the Sea to Summit trail and ride the Sea to Sky Gondola back down to the parking lot! Hiking the Sea to Summit trail in Squamish, British Columbia is rewarding and offers stunning views of Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains. The hike is 7.5 km with an elevation gain of 950 m, and the trailhead is located at the Sea to Sky Gondola parking lot. This hike actually shares a section of the trail with the Chief trail, and is located near Shannon Falls in case you want to chase some waterfalls after your hike!

Is your house really a home if it doesn’t have a spider?

Hi Caleb, Is it a difficult hike to go with a toddler?

Hi! This hike can be quite steep at times and there are a few sections where you need to use your hands, so it might be a tough one to do with a toddler.

Do you consider a safe solo hike for a woman to do?

Hi Gabriela! I think this is a pretty safe hike for you to do on your own. There were a couple women hiking it solo when I did it last Saturday. In terms of difficulty, there are a few steep sections that will require the use of your hands, but even those sections were totally doable. I hope you enjoy the hike if you decide to do it!
