1:20 - Defence team becomes attack team. Rob, I think this is bugged right now, have reported on the gems forum. Played 50 games in Aidania now and every one has been vs a junk team of 4 random green troops - no weapons/hero, and therefore no class. I've also got 40 defence losses and zero defence wins there with a wand/bee/bee/lep team that usually does fine catching people out for at least some defence wins. I think my defence, like everyone else's, is just appearing as 4x random crap... :/
4:15 do the rewards get higher from league to league? Calculation shows that even if get to top of Emerald leagues, I get 90 gold stars. Not enough to buy all 3 batches of dragonite in stock (35*3=105)😢
I've gotta say, I actually loved this update. I barely played the vault event cos I was playing th pvp update. (I never thought I'd ever say that, as I live for the vault weekends) As soon as they get rid of the lag (it's horrendous on pc/phone) and fix a couple of the bugs, I'll consider it one of the best updates in some time...
Agree! 3 hours before my bedtime on Sunday I'd done 2 Gnome-A-Paloozas! Hadn't spent tonnes of time on the game this weekend but what I could do I was playing PVP mostly! Miles better! (Apart from the lag!) 🙂
Thanks for the video Rob!!! It is very interesting what will happen to those boosters if you do not collect them. I hope they just transfer to mail section separately one by one as it does with xp booster now ☺️

Yep, every Monday 10 teams... Very irritating! Sometimes the restrictions will match what has gone before and your team 'may' still be there, but super annoying having to do this every week.
*YIKES* ..oh no, changes, so much changes ! 😵😝😂🤪 .. patterns, i need my recognized and learned to deal with patterns ! Lol, seems i'm gonna need some serious training sessions to re-establish my automatisms and being able to get in the flow again .. argh 🤣😅
How the heck are you avoiding the dreaded lag? I'm sat here waiting upto 90 seconds for the 3 teams to load in, same as loads of others in global chat and on forums... but you're roaming around the map and everything is instant...
Same here. It makes it pretty frustrating to do much PVP. It's not my connection, and it's not the servers. Every other aspect of the game loads just fine. PVP takes forever.
@@GlassDenArt PVP could be on their own servers though, and due to the huge increase in PVP increase since they released this they may be overloaded. And if not, then something needs to be fixed!
For the moment I think in PVP league, You as player, are the only one real player. Others are just random nonsense. Cause if you press on these players their info is very pfff, like player last seen 2456 days in Adana 🤣 at least for me on crunchy apple it shows such things
I freaking hate it you just going to run into guild war loop teams I didn't mind pvp before but now it's annoying as hell definitely just going to avoid pvp now good job devs 👏👏💩💩💩💩
@@garageworm17 The teams faced do have on average a higher team score than before... Maybe to stop people doing the super quick 'left hand side' wins for easy points
@honestrob your basically God mode I've been playing for years I don't understand how people are so high I play for more then 5 to 8 hrs a day sometimes and only 1118 as of this morning I can't play players that are 1500 and above and that's the lowest players for me now these pvp events are just not balanced I should be with players that are 10k to 13k not 15k to 19k they literally one shot hit me and I use most the best teams thanks to you they broke the pvp

2:30 on a number of occasions, middle opponent team had a higher VP reward. Why?
Look at the player level, not the team score. The level is the point you have to look at :)

Seems like the VP level can even be higher on the Left opponent! It might be player level based, not Team score 🙂

Yes hopefully they will fix these issues as overall I really like the ideas behind this new PVP!

The Rewards apparently do get better the higher league you are in! 🙂

The talisman are expensive and if they only last for 1 battle then it's insane to get them.

Also I crafted a pet in pvp, you only get 1. I guess to upgrade orbs are the most logical way.

I'm a returning player from 2018, and would like to know if I really have to set up a team for PvP every time? Why can't I just use my PvE team?

Control-Alt-Delete everything from your brain you previously learnt about playing Gems of War PVP ... Refresh, reanalyse, and start again!
I have been able to copy/paste teams as normal in PvP

the gold boosts actually does not work, other like soul boosts and xp boosts from the heroway.
I noticed later the Gold Boost did not seem to work outside of PVP.... Bit lame if the boost is only if within PVP... I'll have a look later! 🙂

That's just you mate it's fine on Xbox S and X it's probably your Internet sounds like your having trouble loading

I think there will often be a certain amount of real players, in my league I recognise some names. Will vary from player to player I think

Each to their own, I like it more than the dull older way getting the same 5 teams to fight over and over 🙂
@honestrob look how high you are I'm only lv 1117 and my teams are 12000 I'm stuck facing 15k 18k player that are lv 1500 and higher
