I always have farming on reap first. It uses labourers to remove the crops and harvest them faster.

I'm excited to see what it is all about. Not sure if I should try and make a "Tourist District" or how to go about adding it into the town. Have you played it at all? If so what did you do?
I’ve started playing the new DLC but I put the buildings down late game and ran out of space. I will re try and start adding them down earlier. My PC cannot handle a larger map size unfortunately 🫤

gatherer's hut says it collects plants from mature trees
when you build a forester hut next to it, it starts cutting down mature trees
i'd expect you to know this, maybe im wrong?
That is true, but when you place two Forester huts, both with planting and one with cutting there are plenty of mature trees in time!

hunters found them
As kingajadczak said the hunters can find them! Make sure you have bridges connecting the parts of the map that the river has separated! You can also order animals from the docks!
