The musicianship of this is absolutely amazing, why does everyone else seem to only care about the vocalist? He's a great singer, but he's not the entire band.

As an E. Orthodox Christian & a former soldier here in the west I can most certainly understand why the varangian guard did what they did. If the Church put out the call I would come to her defense even now. my allegiance to God comes b4 all others.

This song was my introduction to Turisas. Even years later, it still gives me goosebumps. Though I'd say that Stand Up and Fight is their masterpiece.
I'm the reverse :D got introduced by Stand Up and Fight, but this is the song that fully capture me
They would probably have several other masterpieces if they didn't suddenly disappear.

The difference is really BIG between "SUAF" and their last album "Turisas 2013" which is, (except to me "We Ride Together") soooo commercial !

As a viking reenactor, I really enjoy to see other people know what the guard was.

Yes, ok, Mathias is talented- they all are- and handsome, if you like his style. Olli Vanska though...isn't it unfair to be that ridiculously amazing?! My 1 1/2 year old son will stop whatever he's doing to watch this and To Holmgard and Beyond, even if he's across the room XD
