That's clever. I had the thought of using pieces of bucket as an agitator. I wasn't sure 1 layer of bucket would be enough but clearly it is.

There really isn't a good way to attach any sort of baffles that I could figure out other than this. Glue would give out, bolts or screws would break out. This works pretty well.

what kind of media do you use inside?

I use walnut, but it should be good to go with wet media if I wanted.
