There are an estimated half million unemployed citizens in Australia, if the government wanted they could lower some of the fitness tests. For example a new recruit doesn't need to be running certain times to serve in a chair on a naval ship. Offer the unemployed training pathways instead of wasting billions on these employment agencies that are just rorting Australian tax payers and doing next to nothing to assist the unemployed.

well if you clowns hadnt gone and outsourced DFR we'd be in a better place . and govt has been told for decades that unlerss you change the conditions then people will go mining etc... didnt listen then and nobody listened since.

No chance of hitting recruiting targets. There just aren't enough 'diverse' people' to fill the diversity, equity and inclusion quotas the Defence Force has set.
