This is Video of 4-N-1 Bucket and would work the exact same way on the 1740M. This is a 1760M we did the video with that we had added Massey Ferguson Factory 3rd Function Kit. ruclips.net/video/aNu_ulCugnQ/видео.html We also did a Grapple Video with a 2700E Series Tractor which is the same Massey Ferguson Factory 3rd Function Kit uses on the 1740M. ruclips.net/video/gsNPjvQjOVI/видео.html
Does the 1750, 55 or 60 open stations have better seats? I don't think the loader can do 2 functions at once - most i have seen can't unless the joystick is directly on the valve body.
You can do it on about any tractor/loader but you have to favor the tilt/dump cylinder versus up/down cylinder on tractor/loaders that use equal proportional valves that do not restrict oil flow to one of the circuits. Basic understanding of Hydraulics - oil flows to the path of least resistance. Unless you have smaller port or restrict the flow to one of the circuits oil will travel the easiest path. I can make it do two functions on these tractors but it varies by the load when lifting or tilt/dump.
Have a question for you Doug. How do you change the panel display to read MPH rather than KM/H? I noticed that your video shows KM/H but in some of you other videos it shows MPH. Checked the manual and cannot seem to find any details on how to do that specifically. I have used the display select switch and that just seems to switch the display between that and the PTO speed. You obviously are a subject matter expert, so can you help me?
Does the optional mid-PTO allow the use of a belly mount mower deck with this tractor? I know that the 1735 model does but want to know how large/powerfull I can go & still be able to use a belly mower. Also what other attachments are available for use with a mid-PTO option?
1735M & 1740M both offer Mid Mount Mower Option. Mid-PTO is used with Mid Mount Mowers, Front Mounted Snowblower or Rotary Brooms to power those accessories.
Depends. Not all rotary cutters require the same input PTO Horsepower. We sell RhinoAG and they build rotary cutters that can cut from 1" diameter Material (Tree Diameter) to 4.5" diameter cut capacity. The 1" only needs 25 PTO HP but the 4.5" needs 55 PTO HP. The TW16 at 1" cut capacity works with the 1735M but the 2" needs 35 PTO HP and we sell that with the 1740M. So it all depends on the cutter you want to use.
@@VahrenbergImplement thanks that helps me a lot, u are doing a great job I dont know what they are going to do stop working, hopefully that's going to be a very long time from Now 😎
The 1240 was 30 Engine HP and 23.1 PTO HP whereas the 1740M is 40 Engine and 26.4 PTO HP so the 1740M is amore HP than the 1240. Here is link to Tractor Data on the 1240: www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/8/4/845-massey-ferguson-1240.html
Yes the Tractors are Manufacturered by ISEKI for Massey Ferguson. The New 1840M which replaced the 1740M now uses the ISEKI Engine too. So it's all ISEKI Built Powertrain back again! We have done videos on the 1840M
In this video the 1742 Cab (same size as 1740M) and 1759 (same as 1760M Shuttle) can be seen at the 4 Minute Mark of this vide we did: ruclips.net/video/jrMc8fV_Fbo/видео.html
That is a great question to ask the Engineers. But we have seen very minimal oil loss in these engines but understand your comment. Probably due to size of the tractors, keeping them compact limits where oil fill and dipstick are placed.
[Translate: Hello, can you quickly remove the front loader?] Yes these are Quick Detach Loaders that come off the tractor quickly & easily without any tools.
Do you have a video demonstrating a grapple or a 4-way bucket on the 1740M?

Hi nice tractor, can the 1735m tractor use a 6'ft cutter as well?
Depends. Not all rotary cutters require the same input PTO Horsepower. How does this tractor compare size wise to the older 1240
Is this made by Iseki?

Can you use a plow disk and etc on it?
Yes you can use 3 Point Plow, Disc, tillers etc work great on compact tractors.
can you show the 1740m beside the 1755 or 1760?

Why is the oil fill on the opposite side of dipstick ? That is crazy

Servus, kann man den Frontlader schnell abnehmen?

@@VahrenbergImplement OK, ich danke dir!
That is a Mighty-Fine M-F 1740M I do not see anything on this I do not like thanks for the video
Thanks for watching.
I wish the front steering was behind the front axle. Other than that it’s good to go!
We've run cylinders like this for several generations of tractors and no issues we have seen at our dealership.
