I may heard it wrong but you said that geralfs tap for 3 on convoke for chord... i hope you didnt say that, every creature tap for 1 colorless or 1 colored mana, same with their color... Nevertheless i rly enjoyed your video even if i am already familiar with the deck and i play it on paper, you presented it very well
Ha! I play a Loxofinity deck in Modern that uses Venerated Loxodon with Convoke. I'm very familiar with how the mechanic works, but somehow mis-explained it in the video. Fixed! 🤣
Kitchen Finks wouldn't work because it has Persist, not Undying. Instead of it getting a +1/+1 when it comes back, it gets a -1/-1. So the rule that cancels out the counters doesn't apply.

You can counteract the life loss from Yawgmoth with Kitchen Finks...I don't know if that's legal right now though.
