"Walking away from a job God gave you cause you know it's harder than you thought it was going to be" and I'm not talking physically hard, but emotionally and mentally. Wow when you open your mouth, the breath of God blows forth.
God has been saying to me "I'm not going to take your resentment, I'm not going to take your bitterness, I need to break that off of you, you need to let me do it"
I love that! When you said that God is still trying to find ways to use me, to accomplish His purpose through my life. I love that. I don't want God to ever be done with me as long as I'm on this earth. I want to see what He has a heart for through me.

I think Pastor made a great point that the difference between disappointment and bitterness is movement! I would even add that mindset and heart posture also add to the difference --making movement possible! This sermon and reflection time are both so good!!!

Thanks Pastor Steven and Holly for the recap of the sermon. God doesn’t need me to accomplish His purpose God's promises are persistent even when I'm not knocking. God is commited to His purpose that He will knock into every no. Even when I'm disappointed, I will not allow that disappointment to turn into bitterness. God bless you servants of God
That certainly spoke to me. I decided that it was a dead end and took action immediately after I heard that. A sense of peace enveloped me afterward. Focus not on what can be, because that's magical thinking. Instead, focus on what is, which is reality, the facts.
