Best of luck with your TBR! I can't wait to hear what you think about all of your picks. ✨ I'm also participating in the readathon (and have posted my TBR video!) and I'm so excited!
Can't wait to start Tbr -The school for good and evil #3 - #6 -Undercover princess Lexi, you inspire me a lot and you're like a role model to me love ya
😍 Love this! Also... I didn't realize Mary Poppins has a whole series! I just Googled it and found that there are 8 books! So... now I have to read them all as well! 😅 I just love finding new book recommendations. Thank you, Lexi! 💕✨
Hi Alexandra, I'll be participating in the Touch of whimsy readathon as will my friend Katherine. The books I will be reading are as follows- Prompt 1- Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell. Prompt 2- Return to roar by Jenny Mclaughlin. Prompt 3- Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (I know the irony lol) Prompt 4- Howls Moving Castle by Dianna Wynne Jones and Prompt 5- The Train to impossible places by P.G. Bell. (The group read).

I just love you SO MUCH, Lexi!! (not in a creepy way, I promise!) Maybe one day I'll get the courage to do a BookTube and do TBRs for your challenges! That would take massive overhauls, both of my house and my confidence. So far, I have: Down the Rabbit Hole - The Circus of Stolen Dreams by Lorelei Savaryn Flower Garden - Tilly & The Bookwanderers by Anna James White Rabbit's House - The Time of Green Magic by Hilary McKay The Red Queen's Palace- Return to Wonderland by Various Authors The Cheshire Cat - Potkin & Stubbes by Sophie Green Bonus: Train to Impossible Places Then again, I just added EVERYTHING you mentioned that I didn't already have to my wish list. Not to mention any of the above that are part of a series..then there's the September Owl Crate Jr..I also just got Murder Most Unladylike, The Land of Roar, and The Jumbies, and oh dear, I AM in trouble....
I just left this comment on Kalyn's video, but the US edition of The Train to Impossible Places is gorgeous 😍😍 WinterBONE Home 😏😂 looks gorgeous too 😍 I loved Snow and Rose 🥰 Love your tbr 😍 thanks for hosting the readathon. My tbr video went up yesterday (its ridiculously long, Adventures through wonderland tbr is towards the end of the video 😂) ✨
Omg read a thons are thing?!?!?! 😭 I wish I had seen this 4 weeks ago! I have to order my books online but this is so neat!! Edit to add: I'm so excited I have some books I can read now to join in! And yes the graveyard book is AMAZING! Everything Niel Gaiman is
I''m in a bit of a reading slump and I haven't been able to "win" a readathon in months. I'm hoping MG can pull me out of my reading slump! I'm going to read "The Train to Impossible Places" as an ebook and The Wizard of Oz for my physical read. If I could pick an audiobook (and read all of that), I'd be happy!
I’m participating! My TBR is: Nightmares by Jason Segel and Kirsten Miller, Jessaloup’s Song by Hester Velmans, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Land of Stories by Chris Cofler, Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen by Serena Valentino, and The Doldrums by Nicholas Gannon
I loved the video 😍😍😍😍 new subscriber here 😄, I am in the middle of reading the graveyard book by Neil Gaiman , it is so spooky and an amazing book , thanku so much for your recommendation. Lots of love from india😚
I'm also planning on reading The Train to Impossible Places for the first prompt, well as long as it arrives on time. If not then I will switch it with A Pinch of Magic which right now I plan on reading for the second prompt because. Edit: I Iove all your recommendations I'm definitely gonna have to check them out especially the Neil Gaiman books because I just recently found out about him with an audible ad for his audiobook of The Sandman.
My kiddos and I just got scared into DNF’ing The Witches. It was too much for us. I’m scrambling to find something wholesome, adventurous, exciting, and fun. I was leaning towards The Train to Impossible Places. I was curious if you’d consider it to be scary? We are a sensitive household. We enjoy the occasional situational tension, but nothing too dark and sinister. Thanks in advanced to anyone that can help. It’s appreciated so much!
Here's my TBR video! (ruclips.net/video/gMfelxLAvoI/видео.html) I'm doing two month long readathons, with Adventures Through Wonderland being one of them. You are welcome to share it if you so choose. Here's my TBR if you want to know quickly: A Tale of Magic by Chris Colfer Tilly and the Bookwanderers by Anna James The Swallow by Charis Cotter The Puppet's Payback by Mary Downing Hahn Evangeline of the Bayou by Jan Eldredge
Lexi may I offer you a recommendation? I know how much you love Neil Gaiman have you read any of the Sandman comics because they are excellent and audible just put out an audio version of the first two or three Binders of the Sandman comic book series is an audio novel so good. American Gods is also a good Neil Gaiman book as well as never wear if you’re looking for more adult fantasy titles from Neil Gaiman I really don’t read that much middle grade so I’ve only read Coraline
I wanna read everything in this video except for Mary Poppins. I've read it before and hated it. I didn't like the fantastical things that happened in this one. I only remember a cow or something jumping over the moon and getting a horn stuck in a star or whatever happened and that's the least crazy thing that happened in this book. LOL... I never participate in readathons and all the stuff you guys do because I always have a set TBR now and since I can't afford to buy books all the time, I may not be able to get them right away and fast enough to be able to join anything. Maybe one day I'll be able to do it. I need to have a list of possible books and prompts well in advance to be able to make this happen, though. One day.
By the way, in case you wonder, my screen name is not inspired by this video, although I did watch it a few times before creating the sn. I think it's awesome that it happened like this though. The "enchanted" part comes from the book I was reading recently (Charmed, by Jen Calonita) because it was enchanting. The rest is basically what reading is about. The name actually was only "Adventure Through Books" until the day I decided to start writing on Gavin's videos. So, not long at all. I had a few names before this one and it never seemed quite right so I never could write on here. However, I'm still shy so it's not like I was rushing to get a name. I just decided to wait. I was still freaking out about you guys knowing that I existed before making my first post (took a bit of time to actually post what I had written). I'm shy about that for some reason. And I used to wanna be an actress but one day I saw a camera and thought "no thank you!" and that was that! I was always in front of a camera before that, being in shows at the end of the school year until 5th grade and then having a dance group (with me lip syncing) for a bit in my teens and I even was in a play at 17 but suddenly I decided I didn't like the idea of being on camera and *POOF* completely changed my mind about it.
aw that's okay! Its a middle grade readathon but if you have books already on your TBR that aren't middle grade and you want to participate please do so! The main thing is just to have fun :)
Yes! Along with the group book, I'm reading the first two Aru Shah books and Alice in Wonderland. No RUclips, but I'm hoping to get my TBR up on Instagram in the next few days -- @belsbooksetc
