that was a sublime pass. superb stuff. he didn't even look! martyn could have been world class,i mean top of the world in his sport but these players seem so happy in their own world
Tommy Martyn delivers the beer for Carlsberg at the club i work at, i had no idea that he played rugby for about 3 years, then i heard him talking about playing at Wembley, i was gobsmacked
Tommy Martyn one of the best, and that muppet Ellery Hanley was releasing him. Thankfully the board got rid of Hanley and Milward knew what a great player he was and kept him. He was always outstanding. One of the greatest, I miss his moves, you never knew what he was going to do next. Don't suppose you've got his ball up the jumper move (it was a quick tap penalty) from 2001/2002?
how many players have you ever seen that can make that pass straight from a pickup to a person going the other direction without looking? im guessing maybe 2 or 3....... 5 at most
yeah dont wory im actualy not trying to get into a heated argument. but its not the pass, its the vision, to trust the inside man and throw it with full confidence. most people in pro just wud run straight. aaand maybe the title 'wonder pass' is ott
Wish we had Martyn at half back with Sailor now. Lomax has been brilliant by like Roby its time to retire half back position is a young mans game id partner George Whitby or Harry Robertson with Sailor
oh man that must be the finest pass i have ever seen in either code in all my years of watching league and union..brilliance personified
Superb and in the pressure cooker athmosphere of a Saints Wigan derby. Just fantastic ability.
i miss this saints team they were untuchable
Three of the people I miss at St Helens

Ian Millward
Peter Sheils

at first i was like wtf?
but after the replays.. jesus hes got some skills :D

My heart exploded. You literally cannot see the pass.

unbeleivable tekkers!
@cdtleeds Tommy god was underrated to fuck
Well considering you're a Wigan fan, you obviously wouldn't like it, if a wign player did that itd be different

Damn, and I thought Solomona was good.
Are you actually serious? You really believe what the Internet tells you is gonna happen? Dude, get off the internet
Whats so good about that.. I do that every night in training.
nice pass, but brett stewart's no look flick passes are even better
lol, even the rookie australians can do that, class pass non-the-less
class, but as usual the commentary is absolute garbage.
hardly a wonder pass. Every schoolboy in the country should be able to make a right to left pass by the time their 13.
Andrew Johns here.
If they're shit why are they the ones in the NRL making a whole lot of money from their talents and your not
they were the best at stains only. The world? you are really blinkered and know nothing about Rugby league ''worldwide'' at all.
